Middlesborough ground the Riverside, where the collapse of Burnley in the FA Cup to Darlington from being 2-0 up in the last ten minutes to lose 3-2 came as close as I'll ever get to jacking supporting them in.

4 am start the next morning, freezing cold, car heater packing in and two little Burnley car men thrown out of the window in disgust somewhere on the A66.

M is for Mullen, the manager who kick started our climb from the bottom division after 7 long years. M is also for memorable matches, of which there were numerous under Jimmy.

Northampton away and the farewell to another M, Marriott.
M for Mansfield at home and an epic 3-2 victory
The trio of cup games v Derby, the bullet header at home, the fog on the Tuesday replay and THAT chant in the third game.
Carlisle away where we secured promotion
York away, when thousands came home as champions
The trophy presentation at home to Wrexham, and the cheeky trip in front of the BL stand that brought the final whistle
The play off semi final v Plymouth, where the home team paraded the kit they were going to wear in the final at Wembley and details of the coaches were announced. Cue Super John and the Armada were to set sail for the promised land
The play off final v our fiercest local rivals, Stockport County. Thousands flocked south to support their team, the others had a mere trickle of fans. Cue Eyresy and Parky to bring the trophy home and second tier football for the first time in 11 years.

There were many more, but sadly it went wrong towards the end. But still, it was a Memorable, Magnificent and Magical time to be a Burnley fan after what had gone before. Thanks to Jimmy Mullen.

Willie Morgan.
His Boxing Day performance against Manchester United remains the best individual performance I have seen by a Burnley player. Another of my heroes, Andy Lochead, scored 4 but Morgan just had to be MOM.

My ex father in law often mentioned that set of photos of the magician in action. First time I have seen it and it is just as he described it.
