Fair play on your opinion as it is what this boards about

But I think corner duties should be handed back to Defour

A rarity - a great performance after an international break. Helped by the Swans going 4-4-2 with at least five offensive players so it was toe to toe, which suited us. That wobbly defence with zero protection from midfield was always on a hiding to nothing.

Cork scoring against his former club with manager under pressure is the kind of thing that leads owners to subconsciously feel the manager has to go, so I expect a departure.

My only mild criticism is that at times we showed a lack of quality up front, their defence was overun a few times but a poor touch or wasteful pass ruined it. We are though at the highest point I am likely to ever see (at a serious part of the season) and we have to just enjoy it.

We are rapidly approaching the point where as fans we have to decide what we would prefer - safety, or top 7 and probable Europe with a much increased chance of relegation. Should that miracle happen, we have to embrace it wherever it leads - West Brom fans are showing that guarenteed safety doesn't keep them happy.

Couple of spells where we played some really good stuff, played most of the game in second gear. Swansea were bloody awful, this years Sunderland.

As a staunch supporter of Ash, the middle finger for all the muppets who slag him off. Today showed exactly what he brings to the team. His touch and passing is so far ahead of Sam's, yet some people never see it. He ain't the worlds best footballer, but what he does, he does so well, and he does it for us.

A hugely impressive display. Could easily have been 5 or 6. And together with Sunderland at home last year one of the very few Prem League matches where we were a class above the opposition.

Pope 8-This guy has charisma and presence and a reassuring affect on the back 4.
Lowton 8-Excellent, certainly our best player in the early stages when Swansea were playing well.
Tarkowski 8-Solid as ever. I certainly wouldn't swap him for Harry Maguire.
Mee 8-Leader of the pack
Ward 6-I like Wardy but felt he was a little off the pace, especially early doors.
Gudmundsson 8- He's a handful, Id just like him to release the ball earlier at times.
Defour 9*-Thought he was brilliant. Very classy and can make space out of nothing.
Cork 8-Is there a better deep lying English midfielder? I doubt it.
Brady 7-One of his better games
Hendrick 7-Does an awful lot of work off the ball very well.
Barnes 9-Thought he was absolutely brilliant. His best game in a Claret jersey. I feel guilty not giving him my mom.

Vokes 6-Always difficult scoring someone who comes on late. Initially I thought it was a good sub and would and should have led to more goals.

Pope-6 not much to do
Lowton -8 quality
Tarks 8 solid
Mee 8 above
Ward 5 poor - maybe a rest needed
Gudmundsson 8 good game, creative - what a signing (2.5 million)
Hendrick 7 good passing, gets forward
Defour 8 a couple of mistakes but he's class
Cork 8 solid
Brady 8 creative, good cross
Barnes 9 great performance

Pope - 7 managed to stay awake until the 95th minute when he finally had something to stop

Lowton - 9 superb. His tackle and block in the second half was top defending but his best bit for me was the cross pitch ping to JBG in thr first half

Tarkowski - 8 cigar on. Wrongly denied a goal to cap it.

Mee - 8 equally untroubled by the bobbins Abraham

Ward - 6 looked like his midweek trauma was still affecting him, stupid booking

Cork - 9 a goal that harked back to his winner at deepdale. He dominated midfield with

Defour- 9 everywhere pressing and intercepting but as ever his passing is a cut above

JBG - 7 seems to be feeling more comfortable as a premier league by the week

Brady - 8 close to his best, looked the opposite of ward in that he was putting midweek behind him. Decent set pieces and a perfect cross for cork's goal.

Hendrick - 8 didn't give their defence a moment's peace. His through ball to Barnes was perfectly weighted and he was unlucky not to bag a couple himself.

Barnes - 8 up until the lay off for Brady, he'd done everything in his power to justify the argument for vokes starting instead of him, but that was a lovely bit of movement and he seemed to take confidence from it. Hell of a strike for his goal. Perhaps we're better starting him against pump teams like Swansea.

Routine win against the worst team we've played yet. High marks but fair as we made it look so easy, the only gripe could be that we should have had more goals.

Great times. Quite the opposite for Swansea though who are screwed with the conemeister general in charge.

Pope 7 Very commanding on crosses, but his distribution is still poor
Lowton 8 Top form today
Tarkowski 7 Up against nothing today, but did it well
Mee 7 Ditto
Ward 6 I'm his biggest fan but he carried on his poor Irish form into today's game. Thought we could have brought Taylor on for 20 minutes at least, for an easy introduction
Gudmundsson 8 really good today, and offers so much more than Arfield. Has to be in the team every week
Defour 9 Would get into almost every team in the league. So good.
Cork 9* Goal summed him up; great passing and movement. He's improved us so much.
Hendrick 8 one of his best performances for us, but faded a bit towards the end of his game after a big week. When that three in midfield play like that you really can believe that we'll finish in the top 7.
Brady 7 good game from him
Barnes 7 Great goal, but he could and should have had a hatful, or at least provided assists for a hatful. His fluffed header was a bad miss, and there were a good few times second half where he wasted the ball when it looked easier to score.

Are we scoring Vokes? 6 if so.

Given they have 2 wins in 21 games,i'm not sure WBA can say they are guaranteed safety, cycles can be reversed but they currently look a bottom 3 side,as did Swansea yesterday, thankfully we shouldn't have to worry about who will fill the relegation spots come the Spring, which in mid-November is staggering,WBA and Swansea are likely to press the panic button and fire their gaffers this week,i'm not convinced that alone will save either.

A very good game and entertaining to boot.

I know Pope didn't have to make any saves but he deserves more credit for coming and collecting the corners and free kicks sent into the box. I have never been so confident of a keeper coming for crosses. As soon as I saw Clucas taking a left foot inswinger I just knew Pope would catch it. He's the best in the premier league at it.

Pope 7. Virtually nothing to do, great on crosses as usual. Only minor criticism is the occasional wayward kick

Lowton. 8. Turning into a gem of a right back. Assured in all aspects

Tarkowski. 8. Imperious. Shame about the offside. Champagne moment was him bouncing off Bony

Mee. 8. Completely solid

Ward 6. Well below his normal standard but stuck at it gamely. He was up against Swansea’s best player in Dyer

Gudmundsson 8. Very impressive. His directness was in contrast to the twisty turny Swansea wide players

Cork 9*. MoM. Rolls Royce performance with a goal to boot

Defour 8. Spent most of his time dojng the necessary stuff but now and then takes our game to another level with sublime skill

Hendrick 8. One of bis best performances

Brady. 7. Frustrating at times but he has the quality to unlock defences which he deployed for the first goal. Good corners too.

Barnes 9. Including a point for the goal. His link up play was excellent. A great all round display

Vokes 7. Extra point because his substitution restored our momentum

We really looked the part on Saturday. That said, Swansea were awful. Sanches is clearly a good athlete with some ability but was all over the shop. Bony looked like a Premier League version of Akinfenwa. They looked slightly better with him on the pitch but I suspect that is because Ayew was stealing a wage in the first half. Bony was the sort of player we would have failed to cope with in our lower league days but he was so utterly predictable and so wayward with the odd half chance he had, that he presented zero threat. The second half was about game management and we went down a couple of gears after half time before finishing strongly.

Sorry, late to this:

Pope 7 Did all that was asked.
Lowton 8 Second half blocks were great
Ward 6 Not great
Mee 7 Steady as she goes
Tarkowski 8 Goal incorrectly ruled out, but also in 1st half could have got shot off/passed quicker
Cork 9 Man of the match
Defour 8 He's great. His drives forward really set the pace
Hendrick 8 Didn't expect him to be that lively, really got involved.
Brady 7 Great ball in
Gudmundsson 7 Works his socks off, and has quality as well
Barnes 8 Some good hold up play (good for Cork's goal for example) but sometimes he does look like a clumsy oaf
