Burnleys correct scores this season
some strong trends emerged for all you value seeking footy punters.
10 from 12 games have been under 2.5 goals with Chelsea away being the big stand out with 5 goals.
other was City away where in all honesty we shouldnt have been beaten 3-0 but for that dodgy first goal.
4 games have seen us win 1-0 which makes sense with our defensive qualities
and based on this our true price of winning 1-0 has been 2/1 and not the 7 or 8/1
which is usually available.
3 games have ended 1-1 which also makes sense and that true price has worked out at 3/1 so far.
possible punting strategy for games going forward.
use a bank of 200 points to start with
invest 6 percent on under 2.5 goals.
2 percent on 1-0 burnley
2 percent on 1-1
so total outlay on any match is 10 percent of the bank.
if the results are good then your initial 200 point bank grows and the staking gradually increases
if bank doubles then take 25 percent and spend it
if it doubles again do the same etc.
if there is a losing run it decreases without threatening the bank too much.
the above strategy should see a steady growth providing the pattern continues.....and providing we have a mainly fully fit squad.

Re: Burnleys correct scores this season
I usually back us to win 1-0 but the odds were only 4/1 on Saturday so I took advantage of the group scores 1-0,2-0 or 2-1 at 7/4s.
Should return to decent odds against Arsenal though.

£26.50 profit to a £1 level stake this season so far, simply by backing Burnley to win, which is at least three times better than the next best team in the PL.
One fine day these bookies are going to show the Clarets a little respect.

Royboy....we are continually overlooked by the bookies as you well know....we need to be cherry picking the value....personally I think you shouldn't take less than 11/2 on the correct score ....better to put the stake on under 2.5 goals if the 1-0 and 1-1 aren't at least 11/2.
of course when we are at home to struglers the 1-0 and 1-1 might be shorter than 11/2.

Odds of 4 to 1 at Soton for a Burnley win (in the ground) too good to miss. Result
Re: Burnleys correct scores this season
I put my free skybet fiver on us drawing 0-0 every week, the lay it at the exchange during the game as the odds drop. Made around £30 so far I think.

Hi Happy, any chance you could explain the 200 points bit? Why not just say use 10% of your bank on the 3 bets and so on? Never really understood the points thing in betting. Thanks in advance!happyclaret17 wrote:some strong trends emerged for all you value seeking footy punters.

Made a tidy profit from my under 2.5 goals bet in recent weeks. Think that's a good one for the next few games too.

Re: Burnleys correct scores this season
hi Fretters
I was just expressing that 10 percent of bank should be used really so the 200 etc is irrelevant really.
some tasty odds this week if using betfair
1-0 burnley is 18 ( 16/1 after comission )
1-1 10 ( better than 8/1 )
under 2.5 goals is trading around 2.2 ish
obviously the market is expecting Arsenal to get a goal or 2 but I still feel
these odds are worth taking especially with Arsenal having an away tie
in europe tomorrow night....might just take the edge of them a little.
