There are things in my garden pond that are "too intellectual" for the average American.
Re: Donald Trump
Sanders just won 3 nominations on the trot!
Someone will probably shoot Trump, if he gets anywhere near the WHouse.

The UK. Why?
Re: Donald Trump
Is "God Save America" a different song from "God Bless America"?ontario claret wrote:What Trump is, really, is an undercover agent for the Democrats (much like Keane was with the B******s). He has given the redneck element a real voice (the ones who always voted against their self-interests). The Republican base was wealthy, corporate types and poor, white, under-educated people who take the Great American Myth to heart. (The myth that they are God's chosen people who have saved the world numerous times and are so much better than any other humans that they can sing "God Save America" always in full voice. As Neil Young once said, what's He going to do with the rest of the world?) The U. S. Army always recruits from this base because they are either under-employed or unemployed. And they come back disillusioned from whatever foreign hell-hole they've been assigned to because they find out there's more to the world than Podunk, Iowa. There's going to be a 3-way race this time. Trump's not backing down and neither is the Republican etablishment. It's going to be Trump, Cruz, and Clinton on the ballot, and a split Republican party has no hope against a unified Democratic one. Trump has bas demographics with women, Clinton with men, and nobody really knows what Cruz stands for, other than himself. This thing is far from over.

Re: Donald Trump
Sorry. My mistake again. But the point is, Trump DOES, have an important message, and he's doing it the only way the people that he's preaching to understand. The U.S. does need a permanent 3rd party, but I don't think that Trump is the man to lead it.

Re: Donald Trump
Funny that Bernie and Trump have the most in common (anti-establishment), when their messages are so completely different.-

Oh that's so clever my brain just went pop and made a splatty mess inside my head.Imploding Turtle wrote:Unfortunately for you i'm more careful with my words than you give credit for, because i called the party extremist, not it's members.
"It's not you I'm shouting at, it's the system."
"It's not you I'm being abusive to, it's the system."
"It's not you I'm attacking with a hammer, it's the system."
"It's not the people who are racist, it's 'the party', which (for the purposes of this debate) is distinct and completely separate as an entity to its own right to the party members and affiliates who constitute it as, well, an actual party of members which is representative in some way of its membership."
So you see, it's not you at all. It's the party.
One thing is definitely true though: ImplodingTurtle doesn't get the worldwide acclaim for his wordy word power what he really like totally does properly definitely deserve.

The President of the United States:
Jeremy Corbyn can't even get away with not bowing to the Queen when he's not supposed to. But this is OK?
