Engineering. Family business.

But heavy engineering, our machinery is the biggest in the area.
We have 1 lathe 30ft between centres which used to make missles
All jobs are 1offs but we predominantly make machines what recycle paper.
Big numb stuff.
Most projects take months to manufacture

Did a good few years in Financial Services until there was an opportunity to leave on good terms, in several respects.

Now right hand man / ideas man to an English ex-pat business man in Prague (No, not like in the Night Manager ;) )

Current projects are his long term tour guiding business and a relatively new venture harvesting antiques for resale to dealers / retailers worldwide.

Always looking for new opportunities, currently exploring a possibility of re-purposing an old nuclear bunker as an underground segway track if/when the demented things get banned from Prague streets.

I went to a charity do a few years ago and bumped into an old school friend who I had not seen for years. Asked him what he was doing and he said he was an opera singer and was singing at the charity do

......he asked me what I was doing so I just said I was a pilot - i`m not sure why I said that.

So yes I`m a pilot - actually I need to run now....3.15pm flight to Honolulu awaits.
