Sadly not. Predominantly Liverpool and Portsmouth. Though I work in Liverpool. I've tried to get the owner to expand Lancashire way but as he's based in Hereford and former Royal Navy. He's a port person. I wouldn't mind relocating to Portsmouth to be honest, it can't be worse than Liverpool.

I've worked in sales both in and outbound, and customer service roles for big companies (Wolseley, Simon Jersey, Endsleigh and BooHoo).

Not sure what my end game is in terms of career when I finish studying, but it'll be social care related.

I want to make a difference to the private care sector that will eventually provide care to us all. At the moment I feel it is a shambles, whilst not everywhere, but a lot of private companies are for profit, spending money on low quality food products to feed the residents en masse, with little choice, and low staff training.

Career 1 - Civil Engineer working on the M20, resident engineer on steel frame factory units in Manchester and Bury

Career 2 - Consultant to various Oil Companies working worldwide mainly in sub sea engineering

Retired in 2013

I'm an IT buyer for a large telecoms company. Four years ago I left Uni with no plans whatsoever and staggered into procurement because the job was something that was just there at the time. The ultimate goal is to climb far enough up the greasy pole that I get paid an extraordinary amount of money despite it not being readily apparent what I spend all day doing

Joking aside, I won't be doing this forever but I'm finally in a position where my occupation is fairly comfortable and pays well enough for me to be ok turning up every day, ensuring I can make the next move the right one. However, I still can't think of anything that appeals enough that I'd be skipping to work on a Monday.

It depends on how it (hopefully) goes, I guess. I originally wanted to join the Foreign Office but I'm quite keen to explore an academic career too. Funding is my main hurdle at the moment, so I'm keeping my plans flexible.

Self employed student organiser finding host family accommodation for mainly German kids aged 11 to 16 years old. Work practically 18 hours a day for 7 days a week between March and October and then have 4 months doing practically nothing. Been doing this for 10 years after working as an accountant for 28 years - best move I ever made. Also take students on guided tours around Whitstable culminating inngibing then the chance to try an oyster - very amusing !!

Birmingham; just got the vibes from the lecturers there. Chose it over Exeter, Nottingham, Loughborough and Kent although all were very good.

FO/UN or similar is her dream. Not bad for a Claret !

She's wise to base her decision on academic staff over anything else, because I've found they make a huge difference to how engaged I am with each module. I had a 6 year gap between finishing my degree and going back to do a Masters, but I knew I wanted to return to the same uni because I like the staff. So far absolutely no regrets!
