Europa league violence

There seems to be a lot of football violence going on in the Europa league recently, I have just watched a video on twitter of Atlanta fans fighting with doorstaff in Liverpool after supposedly trying to stab someone in a Liverpool bar. Every Europa league game for Everton this season has had some fighting. I know it's fashionable for foreign clubs to try and get revenge on the English for the past but you don't hear of it from the Champions league.
Is it just more under the radar?

I think we should ban all of the mainland European teams from the competition and only allow British clubs in it for a few years...

The CL games are usually for the bigger teams, with bigger histories and fan bases, often used to playing across Europe, meaning the loyal, well behaved fans often get tickets ( usually limited to minimum allocations too )

The Europa league often sees teams who don't usually play in Europe get a chance, so many treat it as a boozy lads trip, trying to make a name for themselves. Also tickets are more readily available and bigger allocations. More tickets, means more chances of d1cks going.

It wasn't Atalanta fans involved but Eintracht Frankfurt who have a political affiliation with the Atalanta ultras.

Of the 10 arrested there were 8 Germans and 2 locals !

I think it's two things:
First off the CL doesn't want the image of the competition tarnished so it gets swept under the proverbial carpet somewhat.
Secondly it's the frustration of the fans at not being in the CL. Jealousy is a dangerous thing.
I do hope our fans behave themselves next season, it would be a bad image for the town if we were seen to be beating up Real Madrid fans or rampaging around Paris after just giving PSG a good seeing to.

Lets just hope Arsenal fans haven't gone with the intention of putting a show on in Cologne after they invaded their ground earlier this year.

People who are banned from UK football grounds would make the trip, without a doubt.

When was the last time England were involved in any trouble on home soil? Yet they’re always involved in trouble abroad and at major tournaments.
