Cheers Commy........
Stats supporting what we see each week.
No doubt Barcelona also work hard when they do not have the ball, they also work as a pack sometimes to " hunt down the ball when they lose it."
I love great defending........

Re: The Big Six and … Burnley?
A good read and an article that the likes of ABC and KRBFC need to read and digest.

Re: The Big Six and … Burnley?
Great article. As a instrumental music teacher, I can really relate to and appreciate the amount of detail and preparation that goes into the current set up’s approach to their games. The only thing that worries me though is if other teams read any of these articles and ‘finds us out’.

Come on in if you think you're good enough.

How rare, a journalist who does his research before he puts pen to paper!
Excellent piece and well worth a read

What a great read.
Would also help to explain why Keane is struggling over at Everton as they don't appear to have anything similar in place.

My favourite line of that article:
That the method’s success is not reflected in the analytics — that the underlying data seems to suggest Burnley is somehow lucky — says more about the analytics than it does about Burnley.

Very insightful and explains what lies beneath. Illustrates nicely the precision and careful preparation behind our " luck". To be fair the smarter fans of other clubs have become more respectful and less bumptious about our improvement.

The hope is that it wouldn’t make a lot of difference knowing what we do as it’s so regimented and organised that it’s insurmountableBFCmaj wrote: The only thing that worries me though is if other teams read any of these articles and ‘finds us out’.

Written by Rory Smith, formerly of the Times and a BBC regular, who has been one of the better and more thoughtful journalists for a while now.
Great read.
