Pope 7 - Impressive handling again. Maybe could have done better on the goal?
Bardsley 8 - Considering that was his first minutes in the Prem all season, I thought his performance was a testimant to the teams fitness levels and professionalism.
Tarks 8 - Solid yet again against a pacey strikeforce.
Mee 8- As Tarks
Ward 8 - Mr Reliable.
Brady 9* - Deserved his goal and assist after his recent form, he was excellent.
Cork 8 - Dominated the middle in the first half alongside...
Defour 8- Lets hope his knock is a minor one. Looked to be a knee jar to me.
JBG 8 - Followed on from his performance at the weekend with another solid showing. Played a big part in our second.
Hendrick 8 - Excellent movement and helped the other two dominate in the first half. Quieter second.
Wood 9 - Thought he caused them all sorts of problems and was on the money to tap in his goal. Great movement and hold up play throughout.

High ratings because I thought we were outstanding.

First half we were all over them with some wonderful passing football and pressing. If Wood had scored that header from Bardsley’s cross it could have beaten Hendricks at Everton to goal of the season.

An excellent all round performance. They couldn't get to grips with us at all. Beardsley was very impressive considering it was his first appearance this season.

I took along my Chelsea supporting friend (as a special treat for him) and he was very impressed. This is a very special team.
