Either as a precaution after his knock in midweek
Or tactical as he's seen as not being the best in a centre midfield 2 in a 4-4-2.

Agreed. We seemed to lose our shape and become very ragged when he left the field. But as said above, he may still have a niggle, and it was precautionary.

We couldn't keep the ball once he departed. Game ended with that change.

2 games in 4 days. Could have done to keep him on though.

"why was Defour taken off?"

Are you really questioning a decision by the man who has taken us to 6th in the EPL?
Have a little faith, he knows more than the rest of us put together ;)

He was the one controlling our play-always wanting the ball. Must assume he was tiring as he put in a big shift

Because the manager wanted to deliberately f**k things up.

He's like that, you know.

Must have gave Dyche little option but to take him off, I certainly don't believe it was a tactical reason.

Defour was very close to not playing today. We did well to get an hour or so out of him.

We wanted to get another striker on too.

Electro, why so sarcastic? This is a message board, for members to express their opinions and to speculate. Their opinions may be different to yours. Surely we can do this without showing disrespect?
