BBC: "To use up a little more time, Burnley make their final change. Ashley Westwood comes on for Steven Defour, to do little more than pick up a win bonus."

Top 7 breaking away from the rest of the division. Great win from a great squad.

Fantastic win. Hope Ian Mc who normally starts the thread is ok. Missed him and Madge. Don't think the Watford manager enjoyed his northern adventure

I mentioned earlier in this thread that he could do with learning some of the dark arts from Barnes - like at the end when he bought a free kick, he needs to do more of that imho. Other than that he did ok, ran the channels quite well.

Too right! Starting 11, obviously, has fine taste in football clubs, and an exceedingly good judge of people's character! ;)

Wood was being fouled all game getting no protection from a very poor ref. UTC

We had 23 points after 19 games last season.
After 16 games we had 17 points.

5 wins
2 draws
9 defeats
15 goals scored
26 goals conceded

Man United were 10 points ahead of us in 6th with 27 points.

Apologies to everyone. Set off early and arrived for the match in good time. Was going to put on the match thread and got diverted by family text and it went out of my mind, until half time.

Great win. Back home now.
Here is Naughty Madge to celebrate the win, as always.

Maybe `poor` was the incorrect choice of word (it was 2am!). Saying that, I don`t think he was at his best and struggled with the physicality of their centre halves.
