I work with facts and education, so I come across many myths.

Bulls don't get more annoyed by the colour red. This myth started around the 1700s with the bull fighting in Spain but they'll charge at any colour. In fact, they're actually colour blind and it's more to do with the movement of the cape (or whatever is flung infront of them) that pisses them off.

Doesn't take too many braincells to work out that isn't going to be exactly true.

I read somewhere that, despite Ravenscroft's claim that he composed the sax melody, Rafferty did indeed compose the sax solo because on early demos you can hear him playing it on guitar.

I tried it once and now I have to scrape Fungi off my tongue throughout the day.

Some of my acquaintances have suffered more acute problems. My mate said it and then was struck down with 'Minty Cracknell' which is a burning sensation between a Gentleman's Cojones and his Shi*hole. The condition is currently deemed untreatable by most Medical Practitioners and referrals to this specialised area of medicine tend to go to companies who are involved with salvage, demolition and house clearances.

Almond had been at a very wild party and had been having loads of “fun” along with lots of drugs n booze ,eventually ending up in A @E but nothing more.I think Rod Stewart has a v similar myth .You can see how a few general facts get exaggerated into something more “
