New Year Memorium Board.

Post by Rojales Claret » Mon Dec 11, 2017 8:07 pm

My older brother sadly passed away earlier this year. As he was the person who first took me on the Turf I'd like to get his name put on the board. How do i go about this if anyone can help. Thanks.

The club usually provides details closer to the designated home game so it could be worth keeping an eye on the official website, but you could also try emailing inmemoriam@burnleyfc.com in the mean time. That's the email address the club has used previously.

I can confirm the game chosen is the home game against Manchester United on 20th January and you can expect to see notification of it from the club in the next few days, either this week or early next week. That will confirm which email address to use to send in the names of those you wish to see included on this year's In Memoriam.

For those who would like to have names included of those Clarets who have passed away in 2017.

The cut off date is Monday 8th January. You need to send the name of the person who passed away, their age and home town to inmemoriam@burnleyfc.com - you will receive acknowledgement that it has been received.

The game at which the minute's silence will be observed is, as per the post above, the home fixture against Manchester United on 20th January.

Just done one for my Dad who passed away in February. Life long Claret. He liked to wind me up about Burnley. His favourite was you will never see a team like I did Champions of England, Quarter finalists in a European competition two FA Cup finals and Jimmy Mac.. Hopefully I will get see us do one of those.. Definitely not Jimmy Mac playing hahaha.. UTC

Even though I was a bit late, Darren Bentley kindly added my mum to the list. Thanks to the message board for reminding me.
