I really like Toby jones as an actor,he played some high powered city accountant in a real good drama..I enjoy the detectorist it portrays a laid back way of life that's lost in time.funny and a good watch imo. the episode tonight was a repeat.i think. The capital is worth a watch. ThoughtTJ was a lot older than 51.

Absolutely brilliant series. Hopefully getting this for Christmas from my son and daughter-in-law. Complete series released tomorrow.

One of the best series in recent years. Simple, relaxed pace, superbly written and naturally acted. Best bits from this series have to be the squirrel in the flat and auction. Oh and the theme tune is a perfect fit.

"I think I can get under that tape..."

and the opening scene where Lance crawls from his tent to dash behind the tree for a pee and is consumed in a billowing cloud of steam

I wouldn't be surprised to see more. Two years ago, the Christmas special was the last one.
