Car programmes
Anyone interested in the various car restoration programmes ie, Chasing Classic Cars, Wheeler Dealers, Counting Cars, Car SOS, Classic Car Rescue etc?

Top Gear, Grand Tour, Counting Cars, Car SOS, Fast & Loud.
5th gear when it's on repeat.
Not really into Wheeler Dealers, Mike Brewer gets on my nerves.

West Coast Customs on Netflix is worth a watch too.
Used to be the original place they used for Pimp My Ride with Xzibit.

Hi Sidney1st. Yes, used to watch Pimp My Ride and then West Coast Customs. Love the humour in Counting Cars but Horny Mike annoys. Reminds me of 70’s custom cars.

Re: Car programmes
National Geographic channel had a series about Supercars and how they're built/designed.
Found those quite interesting.
Sin City Motors is another I've started watching recently.

Nope, I've spent the evening setting up the Xbox one x I got for my two teenage sons instead.
Was the programme any good?
What channel was it on?

Re: Car programmes
I watched it, quite good but I arn't into the suv that were promoting in the second half. Watch some of the Classic Car Programmes but find them way too contrived. Car SOS probably the best because at least it is about cars not money. Mate of mine was on Turbo Pickers recently, they seemed to film all the series locally, pair of knobheads connected a battery to a Cortina negative earth instead of possitive. Blew the battery apart, so he invited them to leave.

Re: Car programmes
I used to like Wheeler Dealers but do wish they would reflect the labour cost in their price.

Re: Car programmes
Too true, I can't stand that irksome Brewer bloke. "We mayd free hundred and firty feree paands on vis job!" Yer you dId, and the tall bloke had to spend the best part of two weeks farting about with the absolute lemon you presented him with! As you say, no accounting for time needed to put the bloody thing right. No wonder China-man has left him to it.JohnMac wrote:I used to like Wheeler Dealers but do wish they would reflect the labour cost in their price.

Re: Car programmes
As a general rule, car programmes are toss.
Cheaply made programmes featuring sad southern knobs, shown on the arse-end of the sky planner in 480p.
No thanks.
