Proudsville

Post by Steve1956 » Mon Dec 18, 2017 12:25 pm

Come on all you budding song writers on here, time you came up with a song for us to sing in the CFS incorporating the word Proudsville!

"We are the longside, Proudsville"
"Proudsville, Proudsville, Proudsville, Proudsville"

Just a couple i have creatively thought of.

Can Burnley be twinned with Proudsville?

Is there not a place called Pyschoville that would be more apt I think Rowls.

I think if we just sang: "We're the proudest fans in Proudville, we're the proudest fans in Proudville, and we're Burnley all the way!" to the "Whole world in his hands" tune

Oh Sean Dyche is a proud man,
The proudest in proudsville,
Will we get in Europe,
You be we F**king will!

We've upset all the big boys,
Who've thrown out all their toys,
And when we play away, we make all the F**king noise!

My old man's a dustman

Sorry about the language, please feel free to alter.

To the tune of Tom Hark.

"The town of Burnley,
The pride of East Lancs,
we'll battle the oil tycoons,
we'll challenge the yanks,

Match up to the Chinese,
play up to the Thais
The proudest man in Proudsville
is our gaffer Sean Dyche!"

Off the top of my head, but sort of works. Needs a bit of tweaking though.

'We're the Proudest Fans in Proudsville' to the tune of 'You're gonna get your f....g head kicked in'.

I don't know many songs!

THAT is absolutely brilliant.

I like his bio "Lowry on acid"!

Will this be available as a print?

To the tune of Match of the Day:

Well Sean Dyche had a Claret Army,
He had himself a plan,
And every Burnley fan agreed,
That Sean Dyche was the man,
So he got a squad together,
And they cracked on with a will,
And now Sean Dyche is the proudest man,
And Burnley is Proudsville.

Works better with 'my old man's a dustman'
