Re: Lowton
Has Bardsley been such a disaster he needs dropping?
Is Lowton 100% fit?

Re: Lowton
He was dreadful at Man City, wouldn't get in my first team for a while after that performance.

Re: Lowton
Bardsley started well but has been below average last few games. Prefer Lowton especially with no Ward and Brady.

I think Lowton was really good before injury, since Bardsley came in the results have become worse.
Re: Lowton
Bardsley v Zaha, looking forward to it.

Re: Lowton
Lowton was really good.
As for results, we are still 7th are we not?
We don't need to rush Lowton back if he isn't 100%.
We are a better team with him playing though maybe he will get some minutes today

Re: Lowton
Probably fit but not match fit. He was awful at City but superb before his injury.

Re: Lowton
I usually think you get a bit of a raw deal on here KRBFC, but I think you’re being hugely unfair on Bardsley there.
I am a big fan of Lowton and he had done no wrong, but Bardsley has filled in admirably and likewise not really put a foot wrong as far as I am concerned. He doesn’t offer as much going forward and his crossing can be poor, but he is a solid defender.

Re: Lowton
Yeah, let’s not mention Tarks having a mare or pope or Cork getting bullied all over the place. Hendrick seems headless.......lets just pick on Bardsley should we... it was a poor performance in the first half from most of the team. But everyone has a chance in the second half to improve. UTC

Bardsley was to blame for the Liverpool winner as welljedi_master wrote:I usually think you get a bit of a raw deal on here KRBFC, but I think you’re being hugely unfair on Bardsley there.

Re: Lowton
I didn't think Lowton had a particularly bad game last week. He was caught a couple of times in the second half but he was one of our better players in the first half and he showed up much better than Bardsley has in possession, both when under pressure at the back and going forwards.
Dyche will have his reasons for picking Bardsley and we're noone to question his judgment, but I think we're a much better team with Lowton in the side.

Re: Lowton
Bardsley IMO offers less going forward as seen today, less defensively as seen today, and is a red card waiting to happen.
Loyalty and group harmony is the reason he's kept his place.

Re: Lowton
Bardsley just dives in, straight through the back of players, no attacking threat and looks like a red card waiting to happen. Always dives in, in the box, should've cost us a penalty today.

Re: Lowton
Merely for the goal he should be dropped: an experienced, decent full back would never have let Sako move into the box with such ease and get a shot away.
As said already; distribution is awful; crossing woeful and gives non-sensical free-kicks away, pushing, diving in,etc.
Lowton should be back in next week

'Loyalty and group harmony'
I've never seen anyone so intent in arguing with his own players. Reckless.

Re: Lowton
Another stinker from Bardsley, school boy defending. He backs off inside the area and lets the attacker shoot but flies in everywhere else. Another yellow card, I can't wait until he's suspended so Lowton can get back in the team.
Why is Dyche persisting with a system every game that just isn't working because players are under performing? Great it worked earlier in the season when we had our best 11 players available. The very best managers make tactical adjustments on a game by game basis, an area where Dyche needs to learn.

Re: Lowton
Should have been dropped a few games ago. Lowton just as solid a defender and far better footballer who gives us so much more going forward.
Taylor did ok today but we are badly missing our partnerships down both wings

Re: Lowton
Let me add, I thought the performance was good today but it's clear who the two weak links in the team are yet they play every game in the same position regardless of how poor they play. (I don't blame Hendrick, I like him just not as an attacking midfielder)

I think Lowton has been unfortunate to not get his place back

Re: Lowton
High time for him to come back now.
Re: Lowton
Is it the 3rd or 4th poor game now?
Seems only way you get in or out of this team is injury or suspension.
