Cork and Defour have controlled so many matches for us but they both look of the pace

Barnes shot on target. Pushed over by Hennessey.

Much better!

On a more positive note 1-0 is fine by me because we always get 2/3 good chances in a game, if we can nick one, a draw will be a great result, and I would have been happy with that before the game.

I think we'll need to score twice to get a draw.

Barnes tackles Cork to give them a throw. It's been one of them halves. Things can only get better.

Pope fine, Bardsley looking exposed and lacking, Taylor OK, Mee excellent, Tarkowski an excellent liability, Gudmundsson trying, Defour way off it and frustrated, Cork SO off the pace, Barnes battling and up for it, Hendrick NO COMMENT and Vokes is isolated. D-
