JBG to take over from Hendrick

Post by Iloveyoubrady » Sat Jan 20, 2018 12:09 pm

Please, Please can we try JBG in the CAM. JBG would be absolutely perfect there and I think with him there and Nkoudou/ Brady out left with Lennon wide right we’d have a great counter attacking team.
JBG is a very good passer, strong, quick, great at shooting and crossing. He has everything to become a very impressive no 10.

Imagine a front 4 of:

Lennon JBG Nkoudou/Brady
Wood

There is a very serious, quick and balanced attacking front 4. That would score goals against most teams. Especially when Defour is just behind them!!!

Completely agree. Jeff is a good player but is far more suited as an orthodox centre midfielder. We’ve now got frightening pace on the wings. JBG would provide the craft we need in that role.

Lennon not available today but certainly should happen in the future. Maybe the last half an hour of a game when we're going for a win to start.

Reading the title I thought it was a confirmation. But yes, it could work well.

I think Hendrick needs to be dropped but I don’t think JBG is the answer. He’s too one footed.

Been after jbg at nr 10 for months. Hopefully it will happen at Newcastle. Nothing wrong with Hendrick in deeper cm but has been struggling particularly at home in his current role.

Still prefer to splash out on a proper nr 10. One that can get 10 goals per season like ings did, but don't think we will until the summer. Essential to sign a cb now though.

I assume sir Sean has tried this in training and it might not suit him.

JBG is a proper winger. This is like the clamour for taylor at left wing. Before realising hes not even as good at left back as ward.

Hendrick isnt the answer but i suspect neither is jbg.

Would like to see this tried and he's bound to do a better job than Hendrick.

JBG's biggest attribute is his crossing on either foot. We need him out wide swinging balls in.

Jesus, some people just never happy.

As a clarets fan, if you can’t be content now then seriously for your own well-being I would go an support another team

Wanting a minor tweak in the starting eleven doesn’t equal unhappiness.

I guarantee the starting 11 against Swansea will be exactly the same.

What if we get injuries or red cards in our next two games against Newcastle and Man City?

Burnley 2 - Brighton 0 in late April (Lennon & Tarkowski) to cement 8th place.

Hendrick is never a number 10 in a million years.

It must be the reluctance to break up a good midfield 2 that stops Defour being given a chance there, surely
