Sofiane Hanni
Burnley trying for him at the last minute.
Another player from that league wouldn’t be a bad shout given how well Defour has turned out.
Be interesting to see if it happens

Would be pretty ideal for the team.

“FC Burnley wants to steal from Spartak Moscow at the last minute. The decision was made last night. Before negotiations began, Hanni was bent on Spartak Moscow.”

Re: Sofiane Hanni
I'd never heard of him but his goals per game average is excellent. If he's PL level that would be a signing.

There’s an article gone up from a Belgian media outlet in last hour. Something along the lines of us trying to hijack the deal.
Probably ********, but it’s there.

"Anderlecht's Algeria international Sofiane Hanni has signed a five-year extension deal until 2022"
This news was on the 1st of July, strange they would sell him after that.

I would have thought any player would prefer to play in this league than Russia, and I would hope we could compete somewhat on salary.
Not saying I want the guy mind as I have never even heard of him so cannot comment.

Re: Sofiane Hanni
Translated from a Belgum paper printed today
ANDERLECHT The clubs have an agreement, Sofiane has passed her medical tests in ... Rome and expects its representatives to settle the last details.
Sofiane Hanni (27) leaves Anderlecht for Spartak Moscow, currently number 3 in Russia. He will sign a 3.5 year contract with an additional one year option and will earn more than 1.5 million net per season. The transfer price is 8 million.
DH info that revealed that Hanni was on his way to Spartak Moscow has already confirmed Monday morning, not even 12 hours after the end of the match of his life at Standard (3-3, with a hat- trick of Hanni).
Accompanied by his brother, Rachid, he was on the plane from 7:55 to ... Rome. Not to sign for AS or Lazio Rome, but to pass his medical tests with Spartak Moscow.
Indeed, Moscow has been working for some time with Villa Stuart, a hospital in Rome that often hosts sportsmen. Eto'o did his medical tests before signing to Anzhi in 2011, Higuain in 2013 before signing his contract in Naples. And Insigne and Totti have had surgery.
In the meantime, Hanni's representatives in this case were trying to reach a final agreement with Spartak. Monday afternoon, there were still things to settle. The signature should follow this Tuesday. Then Hanni will join his new teammates, currently in training in Marbella.
Anderlecht had already agreed with the Russians during the weekend. His superb match on Sunday could have disrupted the affair, but Sporting has kept his word to Hanni.
Hanni will be the first Algerian player to play at Spartak Moscow. He will not be the first Maghreb to evolve in the Russian capital. Mbark Boussoufa played at Lokomotiv from 2013 to 2016. Despite the luxury, there has never really been happiness.
The Russian championship resumed on March 4, with a trip to Lokomotiv Moscow, leader with 8 points ahead of Zenit and Spartak. Hanni's Russian adventure will start on February 15th in the Europa League where Spartak is still qualified. Atletico Bilbao will move to Moscow in the round of 32 first leg. Spartak come from the Champions League where he lost his last game ... 7-0 in Liverpool in December.
Hanni does not know anyone of the current core. None of the foreigners (including three Brazilians) speak French. And the coach is an Italian: Massimo Carrera notably replaced Conte with Juventus.

£1.5 million a year is less than £30k a week which means is salary is within our means.

Re: Sofiane Hanni
Very skillful player but flatters to deceive IMO.
Doubt he will cut it in the PL. Scored a hatttrick in the weekend, but that does not say a lot in the Belgian league.
Better players out there if you ask me.

The place that first published the article have said he has chosen Spartak Moscow over Burnley, which suggests, as we probably all knew, that it was bullshit.
