AH!

Sorry chaps, it always happens. The minute I switch on and pay attention, it happens. Such an uphill task now. Who knows though, maybe we'll come out of our shell.

for all City's fancy players it has to be said that when fit Kompany is a beast of a player.

He was quite cheap too, £6-8 million I think.
Pretty sure Hughes signed him, but I could be wrong.

Sterling can shoot from there all day long. If only it was his shot rather than the non striker!

Going to be tough. We've lost our 2 most creative players this season in Defour and Brady. We'll see how good Lennon is, I suppose.

Dyche has got his tactics wrong today. We should have gone 442 against Newcastle not City, they will rip us apart. You need to pack the midfield to have any chance against city

Disagree, we tried that in both games against them so far and got battered both times. The problem we have is Vokes doesn't have the pace to close down Kompany and friends and Popes kicks are so inaccurate we don't give our front two a chance

Vokes has had them panicing a few times closing them down. Kompany looks vulnerable to me. Id be surprised if he comes out after half time

Why does dyche seem to prohibit it?

I'll take 0-1 HT. On the one hand, I'm proud we're working hard and hanging on in there. I feel like we've grown into the game a little offering a little bit on the counter with some decent passes forward. However, I feel there's often too little intent to actually pass and keep the ball. I know it's tough versus a team like City but we just invite huge pressure onto ourselves.

Hendrick has been a complete passenger for me - we may as well play with 10 men. Mee has been very good and is doing his best with who he has around him. Was good to see Lennon run with the ball - some excitement for a change. However, he lost it and Cork got booked trying to stop the counter. I hope Dyche doesn't drill the offensive side out of Lennon's game. We need that going forwards. And for the love of God, please get Bardsley out. He has made several mistakes - again. He's not good enough to be starting.

Overall, it's a near-impossible task but we're trying our best.

We will not score unless we commit a bit more forward and take a risk
