The quietest game I've ever seen. You can hear a pin drop.

Yes I’ll take that. We’re getting hammered 0-1 but we’re still in it

if it's 1-0 with ten to go then we will, no point doing that until then because we'll be 3-0 down in the blink of an eye against this lot. They are probably the best team to ever play in the PL

Well, that got better as the half went on. I was not impressed with particularly Hendrick or Vokes in the first 25 minutes but Hendrick in particular has been excellent in the last 20mins. THERE IS HOPE!!!!

The reason we’re playing two up front is to double our chance of collecting and retaining the ball after a panicked clearance rather than a measured pass forward

Lennon has also been very quiet, bar for one run where he then was blocked.

if we had another central defender i would go 3 at the back and go 3 up top but then again I'm no manager...

i think we have to disrupt what they do play out from the back so i think we have to take a chance. (there speed of pass and movement is mental).

I'm sure many will have tried it and failed.

Shows you have far we have come but how far away we have/will never have to go. Football and money hey!!

Imagine Dyche with a 500 million budget..

Good effort lads.

Boring boring City, thats who I blame for the atmosphere, tapping it around doing nothing with the ball, kind of like La Liga football.

Lowton needs to be on. Nkoudou needs to go on the left and Lennon on the right with JBG in a free role.

Just have a feeling city will get caught with this passing along the backline , can't see us getting back into the game otherwise , but then again keep the score line the same with ten minutes to go and we could have a Newcastle all over again .
Super side City are and we are doing well .

Without our best striker, midfielder, defender, maybe keeper we are going ok against the moneybags.

Afternoon all, not at home so not chipping in.
De Bruyne needs somebody close to him. He's picking the ball up in so much space and then getting up to speed before we get near him.

This is not lost yet!

we aren't playing sensibly at all, great hold up play and pass by Barnes, Lennon lays it off to Cork who has 3 to aim at in the box with a simple cross and we go backwards.

We are sitting off them too much. we need Wells on to close down some space.

It too easy

Sterling managed wonderfully to scoop that over.

We'd have struggled to miss that one.

Give Hendrick credit for tracking his lost ball all the way back there....forced De Bruyne into an awful touch.

We are going to run out of energy at some stage with the amount of running we're having to do just to follow their movement.

I'd take 0-1, as someone else mentioned earlier. Could get nasty yet.

We should leave Guddy and Lennon up top in a 4-2-4 formation....long balls in channels what we are doing is not working. Infact i run out of ideas there that good...

In the last 20 mins here, we will really be tested. Very difficult to maintain the energy levels.
