Gave absolutely everything today - he was blowing out his backside in the last 5 mins ..... then put in a class block.

The definition of "leaving it all on the pitch" today from him - They were class down that side but he more than coped with them.

He has been superb for us last 5 games or so and when you think of the opposition we have played. Better than anyone could of hoped.

Seems to be getting better and better.
We knew he had the attributes to come here and do well, he's started showing them attributes at this level now.

To have 2 great left full backs at the club is amazing, weve seen some dross over the years, now we are spoilt.

I thought he was superb today, starting to look like we have a class player. Be interesting to see what happens when Ward is fit.

As much as I rate ward you have to leave Taylor in, he started off a bit shakey all those games ago, but he has really grown into this position.
You can't drop him as he won't progress.

Good bit of business, too. Bearing in mind today's prices, his
value must be ascending fast. Just hope he stays with us, cos I
can see him going far in the game.

What was the fee 6 or 7 million ?
We should have worn a mask.
Meanwhile, his former club struggling against Cardiff.
He's yet another example of a fine player brought in to, initially, learn the ways of the squad and then, when ready and if circumstances make it necessary, slot into position.

Taylor has developed very well over his run of games. Great situation to have, Taylor and Ward both competing for LB.

We've got the same with Pope and Heaton.

And, Lowton has had to wait to win back his place - and I think he's done that today.

JBG has also confirmed his starting place in the team through this season.

And, none of us should have any fear when Kevin Long steps up when either Tarkowski or Mee are not available.

I think he still has a few things to learn. He lost his man, which lead to Sterling missing that sitter, but overall I'm very pleased with him.

Can't be dropped.
Like Bardsley. Really done nothing wrong since coming in.
But a possible injury and Lowts comes back in and that's how SD works.
Not many get dropped after a run in the team.
Great performance today. Another who the more he plays the better he gets.

Shows all you need to be a very good modern left back -quick strong can put a ball in and can tackle.

Very good player in the making.

When you see how players like Keane, Tarkowski, Pope and Taylor developed after they come to us, it has to bode well for summer transfers if we're looking to sign up and coming players for next season.

I thought he was absolutely superb after a dodgy spell early on when he coughed up possession a couple of times cheaply (picky perhaps, but at this level it gets punished). His defending adapted to this level about a month ago and he's been excellent in that department ever since, but I've been willing him to assert himself more going forwards and have the confidence to commit to the attack and get into positions to deliver the excellent crosses he has in his locker. I thought all that clicked in the second half today and he's going to be a real asset for us.

I think he's looked a confident and quality player right from the offset.
He just wasn't Prem or Dyche fit.

Can Ward play in midfield? :D

I know I was banging on about him a bit back and even suggested we signed him (and was laughed at), I could just tell he had the potential to do a job in the Prem.

We'll have interest from clubs in the summer, that's for sure.

Did his bit, however, I think some have forgotten just how good Ward was playing, front and back, before his injury.
