No need for the senior.
Should just know better anyway.

Supposed professionals who are representing their employers in another country.
Only footballers would get away with that sort if thing

All but down now WBA. Turmoil all over the club at the minute.

Wonder if 'ar lads will be smashing up the strip in Albufeira this week after a dodgy kebab at 5am?

Lucky lads.

I suspect if your average tourist stole a car in Spain, they’d be looking at criminal charges.

It's Spain. A quick 10 grand bung, sorry "fine" makes most things go away.

What an uber-stupid thing to do.

Your face is seen by millions if not billions of people each week.. You earn 5-6 figures a week and you fail to pay for your taxi...

West Brom fan on Twitter reckons they were that ****** they asked the taxi driver to go in McDonald's for their food and Gareth Barry jumped in the taxi and drove off.

If that's true he will have to be sacked.

Absolute shambles and disgrace. These ain't young lads carried away by cash. Poor example they are setting. Be interesting to see what WBA do with this.....better tread carefully the trap door is open and hungry.

Funny you should say that. My wife was sent a pic from a friend of hers who's husband is currently in Portugal - he's a big Man City fan but spotted the Burnley lads and had his picture taken with Chris Wood. He certainly looked like he was enjoying his night.

Its actually funny when you hear it is Gareth Barry. I actually cant imagine anyone less likely to be arrested for this than Gareth Barry!

Honestly I don't know which is worst, the fact they nicked the taxi ****** or the fact they were after McDonald's, maybe that's why they did a runner as they were worried the coaching staff would find out they were eating Big Mac's, mind you I doubt Big Mac wouldn't have minded! ;)

No need for the senior? Do you not understand football terminology?

Yes, but I'm referring to wouldn't matter if it was a senior pro or not, still the wrong thing to do.

I would hope to think a not so "senior" pro at our club would know that behaviour isn't acceptable.

Whetger a Senior pro or young pro, it doesn't change the level of acceptable conduct whilst representing your club or employer in a different country IMO.

This happened under Pardew's watch and suggests to me that he's completely lost the dressing room. If there's such indiscipline off the pitch how can West Brom succeed on it? Bye bye Baggies...

The Sun’s front page today is a corker it must be said. Pardew looking dismayed on the phone with a speech bubble saying “But you said come to Barcelona and get Messi”

Oh look... no charges, not enough evidence.

However, I suspect the taxi driver will be trading in his car for a Bentley tomorrow.

It sems pretty certain that whoever the driver was, he was driving while drunk. OK, if I can't say what I did say (not swearing, but definitely non-complimentary), I will say that the driver and probably his accomplices are specimens of humanity that give humanity a bad name. Put it another way, I don't like drunk drivers.

The club have said the 4 players involved won't play for the club again.
8 other players have come forward and said they were in the back of the taxi.
