I might be in a minority, but I didn't think Eyres was playing particularly well for Burnley at the point he left, and that a move suited both parties.

Great bit of work, that. We may not have got the most of Alexander's time, but we got the best of it. That it led to us and PNE finally separating our Ten year bond together is an added bonus. The Superior Ones can only look on in envy at what we've achieved, and hope, against hope that they can somehow emulate it.
