The phobia thread got me thinking, seeing that so many posters seem to be scared of needles how many have tattoos or in particular Burnley FC tattoos.

I’ve no fear of needles, and I’m in doctor’s waiting room now about to get one, but tattoos are a no for me.

I don't have any tattoos but if I did I would have Tom Sarah and Jesse who are my 2 'kids' and my Grandson on the 'inside' part of my left arm nearest to my heart and facing downwards.

On the 'inside' of my right arm I would have Burnley FC and England and again facing downwards.

The 5 loves of my life in the order above.

My Daughter says go for it Dad but I say I haven't got round to it yet.

Certainly not afraid of needles as unfortunately over recent years I have had dozens and dozens of needles stuck in me at Doctor's and Hospitals.

One day I may get round to it

Similar to mkmel, if I were to have one, it would refer to my mum and dad. It would have to mean something extremely significant to have one done.

I had an injection in my coccyx which was rather unpleasant. The joke I made about injecting crack didn’t go down well though.

Have 2 small family orientated tattoos, one on the top of each bicep.
Wasn't too painful but they are just black, I'm told it hurts more if there's colouring in involved.

Always fancied having a Spitfire tattoo to honour 'the few' but it would probably need to be a bit larger to show detail than I would ideally like.

I've got two tattoos at present.

As and when I get the snip I'll get another one for my kids, don't want to get something nice and then find out I'm having another one

I'm not in the least bit bothered by needles or injections but have no tattoos, I just don't see the point. I dont dislike most tattoos on other people at all -although I think people wanting a standard career are best advised to stay away from facial tattoos and "love/hate" on the knuckles etc.

Similarly I have no body piercings. I can see the attraction of an ear stud/earrings (or similar) but nose rings, intimate body part piercings, those big earlobe holes etc, strikes me as something akin to self abuse.
