Going way back to 60s to early 70s
Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green version), Jethro Tull, Slade, Moody Blues, Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, Pentangle, Al Stewart, Michael Chapman, BB King, Animals, Billy Fury, Cliff Richard (ahem), Marty Wilde, Searchers, Hollies, Roy Harper, Bert Jansch, Ralph McTell, Small Faces, Hawkwind etc etc

Not too many mid 70s to mid 90s

Loads in the last 15-20 years, most well known off the top of my head:
Stones, Emmylou Harris, Sparklehorse, British Sea Power, Super Furies, Richard Thompson (a few times), Page/Plant, Martin Simpson, Martin Carthy, Bellowhead, Billy Bragg, etc etc

Got to 17 gigs & a day-festival in 2017, already done 2 gigs this year & have tickets for 7 more over the next couple of months. I'm 68 now and my first gig (end of the pier summer show) was when I was c 12 years old.

Live music - next best thing after SX, food/drink & sport.

Still one of the great sounds of the 70's

Phil Spector became a murderer but the Ronnettes are nevertheless good.

Too many to think of and way Too many DJs.

Ones that stand out:

Best

Prodigy - by a mile
Oasis
Kasabian
Lionel Ritchie
Liam Gallagher
Fatboyslim
Libertines. Dont really follow them but enjoyed it.
Carl Cox
Green Velvet
Hardwell
Rag n Bone Man - actually very impressed with how good he was live

Worse
Noel Gallagher
Stone Roses
Tiesto
Three of my favourite acts ever and all three were terrible. Theres probably been much worse but they were the biggest let downs.

Ones I shouldnt admit to
Boyzone
Take That
Girls Aloud
Rhianna

I went to a fair number of gigs when I was at uni and shortly after. I'm not really into them as much now as I don't like crowds much - prefer the ones in stadiums where I can take a seat and have some semblance of personal space (I'm boring like that, haha).

Cooper Temple Clause - My first ever gig. Anyone remember them? I think they were well underrated.

Biffy Clyro - Don't really listen to new music these days but particularly enjoyed their first few albums before they became more popular.

Silverstein - Again, not sure if anyone remembers them. Sort of emo/post hardcore sound.

Chris Cornell - The year before he sadly passed away. He was brilliant. That was the day Prince died and Chris did a brilliant cover of 'Nothing Compares 2 U'. I'm so glad I got to see him live but gutted I won't be able to see him again. He played on well beyond the time he was supposed to as he was enjoying himself that much.

Oasis - Saw them in Heaton Park. Lived just a few mins away from the park at the time. Listened to them the night before from my bedroom window. Then a mate said he had a spare ticket for the following evening. Good stuff :)

Arctic Monkeys - Mostly because Alex Turner is a bit of a legend. Brilliant songwriter and musician all round really.

Pink - Just thought I'd throw this in to surprise people. Saw her at a festival and she was brilliant. Watch this and you'll get the idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqRXFyY-hZQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Kooks - Always liked their sound and saw them live a few times. Again, always put on a decent show. Not sure if they're still around these days? Probably are but I just don't keep up!

Bowie (twice)
Oasis

Those were the best ones.

Too many other ones to remember but here's a few

Tears for Fears
Hall and Oates
ABC
Pasadenas
Take That (on a hospitality thing with work)
Robbie Williams (another hospitality - I despise him and his music and just got very very drunk)
Jimmy Ruffin
Junior Walker
Tony Hadlee
Texas
Hue & Cry

Quite a few of the above I just went to with friends but didn't really want to !
Ones I wish I would have seen include Stevie Wonder, Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys (and Human League !)

Any list I put up now will be hidden behind some of the wonderfully loaded lists already posted. :(

Still, I haven't too many to list so,

David Sylvian
John Foxx - twice
Gary Numan - many times
Depeche Mode - twice
Jesus Jones
Fratellis
Jon Fratelli (solo)
Kylie - twice
Midge Ure

Edit, had to remove the t from Midge Ure's name, predictive text strikes again!

Additional:
Human League
Duran Duran

That was my first festival, aged 14. Real eye opener. Just wish I'd watched James Brown but it clashed with someone else.

Not been to too many lately but the best I've ever seen were probably Neil Young and Ry Cooder both at the NEC.
