Quadricep Tendon rupture

Post by 1HappyClaret » Mon Feb 26, 2018 2:50 pm

Hi

Has anybody torn their quadricep tendon in there knee.

Unfortunately I have managed to do it on both knees last Wednesday. Still in BRI and likely to be here or Burnley General for another 4 weeks. Cricket pads splints to keep knees straight so no physio until April.

Anybody else had this injury to one leg and if so what was recovery like. Also any tips will be useful.

Thanks

How the hell have you managed to do both at the same time?

(I'm only asking as everyone else will be wondering it too)

Slipped on ice from someone’s overflow pipe. It seems that I am in a very rare group of people to do both.

Cannot stand for 6 weeks and then the painful physio will start. Hope to be walking without aids (frames, crutches & walking sticks) by End of September.

As hospitals go it seems a decent place if that's Bradford RI. Your in. Though I was only visiting on a nice sunny day when Burnley got promotion at charlton.

That’s what worries me about knee sliding goal celebrations ....Anyway, not for our players to be too concerned about.
