Not sure what it was when I went out but jeez the temperature really dropped in no time.
Re: Here comes the beast from the East
-8 here in France, sunny all day, heck of a chilly wind though, I had a pile of rocks to shift today, but they're all stuck together, weirld that there's no frost at all, just looks like a normal day except everything is frozen solid. Expecting to hit -12 tonight and tomorrow. Brrr.

Hardly a Beast, more like a chihuaua from the next street, pretty mild in Burnley right now.

I've put some salt and grit on the road in case the forecast is correct.

Forecast: 5 inchesconyoviejo wrote:The southern softees will be moaning like phook if they get a bit of snow and ice..
translation: 5 millimetres but that's still maybe enough for Surrey Boy to claim he can't get to work even though he could walk to a railway station and he bought wifey that 4x4 for her birthday so that she can show off to her friends and pretend she lives in the country.

Re: Here comes the beast from the East
We had some people at work today(City of London) who claimed they couldn't get in due to snow. I'm out in the sticks and 600 feet above sea level and we had a mild dusting only.timshorts wrote:Forecast: 5 inches

Some people are desperate for any excuse to scive off

It's funny how Ashley Barnes and Dean Market never get called 'Southern Softees' on here.conyoviejo wrote:The southern softees will be moaning like phook if they get a bit of snow and ice..
