Help required please - shirt framing

Post by The Hung Juror » Tue Mar 06, 2018 7:53 pm

I've got a couple of shirts I want framing. Has anyone got any recommendations, tips, do's or don'ts on places in the Burnley area which provides such a service. Thanks in advance.

Arteology. 113 Albert rd Colne.
He is a claret and does a lot of shirt framing. It’s also an excellent art gallery.!

This bloke at Nelson (see link). I've had shirts and works of art framed by him. He's very good.

A bloke in Whalley did one for me a few years ago, double frame to fit two shirts side by side, both complete with little gold plaques and the certificates in the back. Did a cracking job. I'll try and find out what he was called!

Clarke Crafts in Ramsbottom have framed many photos for me but also have done 2 shirts. Probably not the cheapest but they will do custom inserts, borders, titles etc. You can also specify non-reflective glass.

I'd recommend Dysons at Lomeshaye Business Village.

Havent actually collected it yet, will grab it this week. It was pretty expensive but one of them things that you get what you pay for. And they made it bespoke with. They are all hand made and the shirts hand stitched to the back. Want it to look good when hung up. Everything else has been spot on.
