Just a quick thank you to all those on Accy Clarets coach 2 today who contributed to the whip round that I promised Tony that I would do for him.

We raised £98.00 which of course will be increased to £100 and be added to your webpage tonight or tomorrow morning after match of the day has sunk in as I have only just arrived home!

You lot are nothing short of incredible, and a great result yesterday which I also thank you for. The fact it was ex Millwall forward Chris Wood and Sean Dyche that helped do the damage made it sweeter

Quick update , we’re almost at £13,000!!!!

I was chatting to the West Ham fundraisers at the game and you popped up in the chat, as I told him I was aware of their campaign through this thread.

He did say that he can't reference Millwall that often when talking about you to West Ham fans, they get all knobbish despite your obvious efforts to put football to one side for this

Funnily enough one of the fundraisers contacted me and said Burnley fans had told him about what I’m doing and about this post.

I don’t know the family at all, but they have made contact and are sorting the kit out for me. West Ham said no when I asked, so the mum has gone to the club and now they’re sending me one.

And by the way, this effort has strengthened my resolve to arrange a UTC Dinner to raise money for UTCYF & the Bradley Lowery Foundation. Plans for end of this season were scuppered but I'm sure we can sort something for next season.

West Ham bloke I spoke to on Saturday outside their club store said the club has made an offer, but the funds haven't been given yet.
He wasn't surprised by that either.

I met young Isla and her family last night for the first time when I went to collect the West Ham kit from their house.
A very very humbling experience.

Isla’s parents are so strong and Isla was running around like any normal 3 year old just a week after an op to remove a brain tumour with the only visible signs being her face and head are totally bruised from the surgery

Where do I start!!!

Today’s Brentwood half marathon was cancelled due to the inclement weather and will not be rescheduled.
I took all the donations on the premise that I would do the forfeits I put in place.
So I will honour them all.

So now on Saturday 31st March, I will run a much more dangerous route from Cold Blow Lane to the Olympic Stadium via the New Den and the Boleyn ground wearing full West Ham kit and having claret and blue dyed hair. I will do crosses hammers at the finish where I will meet up with some of Isla’s fundraisers and then take in the West Ham v Southampton game

I’ll be surprised if I don’t get a whack from someone along the route, more so through Millwall territory in Bermondsey!!

I hope this will satisfy all of those who have donated.
Wish me luck, I need it!!
