Take care all our traveling fans, safe journey home.

Yes, well said BurningBeard. Let's hope there are actually some police within a twenty-mile radius of the Taxpayer's Stadium. Quite farcical -and bloody dangerous- with no police showing up until around the 90th minute mark.

Well said again - my son's down there with his mate and they're staying at a friends in south London for the night.

Just texted him to tell him to watch himself after the game

"Get stuck in to them and dont let our town down!"

No. No violence from our fans. We don't need that.

Our team did our town proud.

Normally our claret and blue scarves will be enough to confuse them.

Yes, probably not a good time to be singing 'Dean Mar-nay' in the street for no apparent reason

no trouble with the Clarets but plenty elsewhere, just got a message from a West Ham mate who said there was lots of trouble outside. He also congratulated us on the win, performance and for putting the kids on the bench

From the BBC

West Ham 0-3 Burnley

Apparently, the Burnley bench spotted some children that were caught up in the trouble and allowed the youngsters to shelter in their dugout. Another angle to a remarkable afternoon at London Stadium.

Caught the train to Camden town for a few drinks ( first stop the Hawley arms ) . Got talking with quite a few of their fans and they were fine with us , just ****** off with the board . Anyway they're drinking with us , so i hope they're not lulling us into a false sense of security !!

My younger brother was chatting to Alastair Campbell outside the ground on route to the pub he told him he’d seen a female steward being punched by a West Ham fan. Lovely bunch!

Its a game of premier league football, in a stadium paid for by us and given to them, and they still moan?

Everton fans last week, West Ham this, Arsenal a couple of weeks ago. A 1987 style reality check would do some of these premier league fans the world of good.

Echo some of the other comments. It’s was all West Ham v West Ham v the board. I didn’t see any trouble between us and West Ham outside.

The whole ground applauded Burnley off the pitch at full time. It was a surreal moment, yet one that brought it home as to just how special This club is that we support!

It’s not the Met’s decision to Police inside the stadium. West Ham like every other club are responsible for their own stewarding and security.

The Met will be dealing with their usual 10-12 thousand calls per day, which if you haven’t worked out, is a lot of demand on limited resources.

Main problem outside the ground was finding the way through the shopping centre to the railway station ! An absolutely superb afternoon and, yes, when our players left the pitch the West Ham fans remaining in the stand around and move the tunnel gave them a big ovation.

Hi, I don’t think there was any problems with any of us getting away, and whilst queueing at Stratford someone s=did break out in a “Dean Marn-ey”. Pleased to say. There was not a hint of a reaction.

Glad I was there today...what a day!!

It was like going back to the 80s outside the stadium after the match, there was running battles all over the shop. Disgraceful scenes

I’ve seen bigger punch ups outside Weatherspoons, sure there was a few laity cockerneys having a go at each other but no danger at all for Burnley fans . Though that bleedinnshoppng centre ffs! Pain in the arse. Swore I wouldn’t go back here after last yr but last min oppo.
Great day out though and we were immense in 2nd half in difficult circs .

Not the most raucous contingent and just as well it didnt kick off as the Burnley lot looked a bit like the vast of a gala bingo ad but it didn’t so...

Saw no trouble at all after the game. We walked round the stadium and caught the train at Hackney Wick, which was no problem. West Ham fans were fine albeit rather pi**ed off to say the least.

We did the same and saw no trouble, but Alistair Campbell did go tearing past us at full pelt so I assumed he was being chased!!!! West Ham fans started leaving after the first goal, never mind the third, which helped and meant we got straight on a train from Hackney Wick and were back at Euston for 5.35.

Very toxic atmosphere in most of the ground yesterday and i was expecting to see trouble outside but thankfully it was fairly quiet

I was in the upper tier and bar the usual banter and provocative gesticulation from a few big fat ****strds on our left there wasn't any trouble. Doubtul if the stewards would have been able or willing to deal with it if the WH fans had attempted an invasion into our section as they didn't attempt to marshall their fans at all.
However after half time the noisiest of them lost heart and turned their wrath on their own board and team after the goals went in and they drifted away helped by a few bars of You can stuff ur ****in bubbles up ur a**e.. Toxic enough after the game outside but we chatted to their fans on the train and later in the pub at Kings Cross and they had no prob with Burnley. As to the make up of the Claret fans contingent and the bingo reference by AlargeClaret open your eyes to the demographics in our area. I for one was proud of our club and our fans yesterday.

I seemed to walk he entire circumference of the stadium after the game (hopelessly lost) and saw no running battles or indeed anything untoward at all.

Several friends (not Burnley fans) have commented very positively about our subs protecting those young lads. That makes me feel very proud to be a Claret.

No neither did I to be honest, I was just adding to the drama.

Just seen this thread but would say there were absolutely no problems for us walking to or from the stadium. Their fans inside the stadium at the end applauded our players.

What some, a minority, did yesterday was very wrong. They need to find different ways to protest.

Thankfully we all got home safe and I can confirm that the three points have now been deposited at Turf Moor.
