Quite heavy here in Cornholme. It’s sticking on the A646 at Windy Bridge in Cliviger.Damo wrote:Anyone know what the roads are like to tod/Hebden bridge?

Re: A tad inclement out there tonight
The snows not as harsh as the other week. But the wind and cold is worse.
Went for a walk couple of hours ago and plenty of dickheads not driving to the conditions. Roads are ungritted and icy.

Re: A tad inclement out there tonight
There's a couple of inches of lying snow now, setting off to Whalley in 30 minutes, hopefully the main roads are clear.
Re: A tad inclement out there tonight
The roads are bad in places. Todmorden was fine at 6 this morning until just past Portsmouth. You could see exactly where the gritter had done a u turn.
I would avoid driving unless you absolutely have toRe: A tad inclement out there tonight
M65 was bad this morning, got to m6 and clear as a bell
Typical even the gritters don't like us

I was in Manchester yesterday and it was freezing and snowing yet there were still young women walking around in sleeveless and/or backless dresses without coats. Mini skirts and high heels in that weather just didn't look right. Not that I was looking mind
