Mansfield's Equaliser At Notts County
Came in the 9th minute of injury time. (Kevin Nolan majorly unhappy)
Probably get charged by the FA for his post match comments.
Is 99 minutes the latest goal for a league game this season?
I can remember Dirk Kuyt scoring a peno for Liverpool a few years ago
in the 101st minute.
Mansfield's gotta be the latest this season.

The Rotherham v Doncaster game was the one in which Tom Anderson got badly injured and that was why there was so much added time

I'm not sure what Nolans problem is unless he feels the ref has allowed far too much injury time to reflect the stoppages. In a game if an injury happened in the 46th minute and took 15 minutes to resolve, then he could expect the ref to add on 15 minutes plus an allowance of any other stoppages, so you could get a goal being scored on 90 + 19.
Its just tough, these managers need to stop being complete cry babies.

Should have been more time added at WHU for the people on the pitch. With another 10 mins added we would have easily scored another 2 goals.dushanbe wrote:I'm not sure what Nolans problem is unless he feels the ref has allowed far too much injury time to reflect the stoppages. Or the match could have ended up being abandoned due to more disruptions and we might have lost the replay.bfccrazy wrote:Should have been more time added at WHU for the people on the pitch. With another 10 mins added we would have easily scored another 2 goals.
The referee was 100% correct to blow the whistle after 90 minutes.

The game would have stood as a win to us by the time it would have been abandoned .......nil_desperandum wrote:Or the match could have ended up being abandoned due to more disruptions and we might have lost the replay.

And to rub salt into the wound the 'handball' was outside of the area, bit like Arsenal with us, handball, offside 95 min of the 94.

Undoubtedly that's what should have happened, but this WHU and Burnley, so I wouldn't place a large bet on it, (they once won the World Cup you know), but leaving the result aside, there were many other reasons why blowing up early was correct. It was getting very nasty, and player / spectator safety is paramount.bfccrazy wrote:The game would have stood as a win to us by the time it would have been abandoned .......
There is nothing in the rules - incidentally - that says that the 3-0 scoreline should stand. It's totally at the discretion of the FA:
"”…any League Match which from any cause whatever falls short of 90 (ninety) minutes’ duration may be ordered to count as a completed fixture or be replayed in full or in part on whatever terms and conditions the Board shall in their absolute discretion determine and shall be played in compliance with these Regulations and the Football Association Rules respectively and under the Laws of the Game as approved by the International Football Association Board”.

Equaliser should I say
Re: Mansfield's Equaliser At Notts County
Saw it this morning on channel 5 looked like handball to me and also looked inside the area .. Kevin Nolan always did
try to referee the game when he played at the Turf so no sympathy ..

It’s not the first time something like this has happened with them. They scored a late equaliser against us (Barden) in 1996 in the Lancashire Cup
