Boyce's Barrell, the new bar in town, had a few punters in early this afternoon.
Padiham FC won 5-4 against AFC Liverpool at the Arbories / Ruby Civil Arena. The visitors almost got a point with the last kick of the game which crashed off the underside of the bar and onto the line. Goal-line technology was not required. £3.00 entrance for Burnley Season Ticket holders is a bargain for a goalfest. Bitterly cold winds were not as welcome.
After the match the Hare & Hounds had a good atmosphere and a decent range of beers on.
Clarets win at WBA and now, next season, a Thursday night Europa League 1st Leg Tie in rural Romania beckons.
The new bar was packed at 7:00pm. Rhubarb Cider, although pricey, must be tried.

Went in last night for a few, cracking pub and the beer both selection and quality was second to none. Very busy as well.
