Re: May games on TV
Cannot show a game on Monday if there is one on the Friday. As far as I know that’s the lot for TV until the final Sunday. Our game could still be moved though should Arsenal still be in Europa League.1989_claret wrote:Almost certain to be us on the Monday night then at Arsenal.

Re: May games on TV
How many times will we have been on Sky this season. It doesn't seem very many. Certainly not even half of the times Dirty Leeds have been on!
Re: May games on TV
Some utter disregard to the fans with some of these fixtures.
Man Utd to Brighton and West Ham on Thursday/ Friday. Soton to Everton 1730.

You do have to wonder why they were / are planned for the Sunday in the first place?Ric_C wrote:Darren Bentley has confirmed that if the Arsenal game gets moved to Sunday the Players Awards will be on the Monday 7th

Re: May games on TV
So if Arsenal progress in the Europa cup the game will just be moved to the Sunday rather than moved to another week altogether?

Probably be Monday either way but they can't officially announce the date and time till they see where they are in the Europa.JohnDearyMe wrote:So if Arsenal progress in the Europa cup the game will just be moved to the Sunday rather than moved to another week altogether?

Arsenal play Leicester on the Wednesday, would Sunday be more likely?Milltown1882 wrote:Probably be Monday either way but they can't officially announce the date and time till they see where they are in the Europa.

Re: May games on TV
So you can't show a Monday game following a Friday game? Never knew that before.
So the game's got to be on the Saturday or Sunday which makes me hope that Arsenal get knocked out of the Europa league so the game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday as nature intended.
I was sure this one would be on TV.

Re: May games on TV
I'm assuming that the rules don't change for the last week of the season but that's been the rule so far with a game week only allow to stretch over three days.midlander63 wrote:So you can't show a Monday game following a Friday game? Never knew that before.
Re: May games on TV
I wish Arsenal every success in the Europa. May their priority and minds be elsewhere, when they take on the Mighty Clarets. May the referee be fair.

Re: May games on TV
Wouldn’t be that difficult for both clubs to say what day it will be moved to should Arsenal progress would it?
Help the fans out a little bit.

Re: May games on TV
It will be Saturday if Arsenal are not playing in the Europa League but likely to be Sunday if they are. We have to wait until such time as we know which will be next Thursday night.Bordeauxclaret wrote:Wouldn’t be that difficult for both clubs to say what day it will be moved to should Arsenal progress would it?

Re: May games on TV
Thanks for that. I guess.
Doesn’t really address the question though.

Re: May games on TV
As long as the game is Saturday or Sunday afternoon would like to think we'll take our full allocation for this one. Last away game of the season, seems to be a lot of interest and we've still got something to play for. Surely we want as many Burnley fans there as possible even if it means risking having some unsold?
