China in our hands

That third world country bigging it up as having first world nous, is a puppy out of control.

They are in a mess with their own transport system.

Association football will destroy the very fabric of their country as they need the land for rice to feed their people.

Methinks they might be hoping a worldwide nerve gas will kill off all the other humans so they can do an expansion plan of their kin, akin to the idiot Hitler and his wish to destroy the Poles.

They are the new colonialists of Africa, I wonder if they play RISK?

Their own people though, will probably rise up and revolt.

If the commonwealth and the UK and the rest of the world don't buy Chinese for a week and they do that once a month, that country is over. it would collapse in on itself.

Meanwhile our government are actually signing agreements to let the Chinese run our nuclear power stations in the UK. That is the sickest most disturbing thing I have ever read.

The vast amount of land given over to cultivation in China has the highest (by far) calorific production on the planet. China not only manages to feed its Billions but also manages to export vast quantities of rice and potatoes to their neighbours.

I've bought some HG limescale remover, M&M and that's how far the spring cleaning got. Made in the Netherlands and not China.

BMW and Mercedes meanwhile are perfecting their tank designs under the auspices of the 4 x 4 set. T'pauwerful for some, the truth... However, the fools are still playing WW2 and haven't swivelled yet to the Eurasian menace. Kazakhstan are brushing up on their French.

That third world country.
I was in China a few weeks ago and it’s no third world country.
The sky scrapers of accommodation have to be seen to be believed. 3 hours I travelled on a motorway traveling to Wuxi.
It’s scyscrapers all the for as far as the eye could see.
Cars were Mercs, BMW’s Audi and all the same price as they are here.

Not sure if M&m's will really cut through that filth to be honest. Try Ajax..they usually clean up in the Netherlands to boot..

Looks pretty third world to me, Lowbank. Worse than Easterhouses... And are those boxes for boxes or cartons?

Turn a corner and you're on a cart track, methinks.

Yes but between Shanghai and Wuxi and in fact in all of Jiangsu and Zhejiang you are in what is possibly the most developed part. Have to say though the hotels there are superb and the highways - built so quickly are veey good. They have come a long way very quickly on the back of Western innovation.

'On the back of Western innovation', as the West walks around on its hands and knees, doing the cleaning for Lara Croft rather than getting on with more innovation.

Ah yes the West is goosed but it wasn't and development costs for manufacturing (when we had some) were factored in. China just copied not respecting patent laws at all so no development costs. Now they are purloining intellectual property from the West. Hence Trade sanctions by the USA. Still a very controlled society. I think maybe we could do with some of that sometimes.

Certainly not the control they are exerting right now, via feminism and the like.

Lowbankclaret's photo is a tragedy for Africa to come, that will dwarf slavery and cotton-picking and that will be the urbanization of it, for the Chinese.

Green? There will be no green.

I doubt the Obamas will become the expats in Kenya that their dogoodist walk-abouts suggest.

African Americans in California re- L.A. South Central ditto, cos it's Friday night and Montell Jordan...

This the future, Africa all clean and sanitized?

You are not joking, it’s was mega built up.
The cost of living was about the same as here.

As one strategic buyer put, check out how much a Mac Donald’s is and you know how advanced the economy is.

No not really.
I went into two companies while there.
The second the main guy had spent $100 million dollars of his own money setting up the factory.

It was way in front of many of the factories I visit in the UK in every way.

You should try telling the people of the PRD, Beijing or Tianjin that the Shanghai, Wuxi corridor is the most developed. They would fall about laughing
