None of that "don't count your chickens" I know.
How big would the demand really be for Home and more interestingly away tickets for a ? V Burnley European qualification match ?
I know a lot would depend on where and when.

Me and my Dad for certain, wherever, whenever.
I would be hoping for somewhere in Spain for a nice long weekend in the qualification stages, then some crazy backwaters in Romania and Serbia in the group stages (oh, and maybe a cheeky trip to the San Siro?).

Good call, I'd be looking to do it as cheap as poss and stay at some local hostels etc, the actual tourism aspect of it is just as exciting as I realistically would find it hard to justify visiting some of the places we could end up being drawn if it wasn't for football, might stumble upon some hidden gems.rufus lumley wrote:I will have the Ryanair website loaded up during the draw.

I would probably travel. Might not need to travel far if we do quality and get a Spanish team. Fingers crossed!

I don’t go to many away games now due to work/ family commitments however if we got into Europe I would definitely go to the first away game even if I can’t get a ticket.

Obviously the nearer the tie the more interest. French ties are the most popular with English clubs as there's multiple ways to travel.

So people know, with the first qualifying round, you dont find out who you’re playing about 2 weeks before, so it will be a rush to get organised.

If we finish 7th we will enter the competition at the 2nd qualifying round stage.
Which would mean a possible three qualifying rounds before the group stage.

Would have absolutely no chance of doing them all, but certainly would do one.

If we finish 7th and it’s a Europa League spot, if Arsenal win this year’s EL we would be entering at 3rd Qualifying round I think, if Arsenal don’t win it I think it’s second qualifying (Glasgow Rangers a possible)

Thanks. Yes the paperwork is a grind but we're sorting out some of it over here. It's all a bit mind boggling to be honest. For example we have to get the kids birth certificates translated in to Spanish at a nice 70 euros each erm OK! But it is what it is.IndigoLake wrote:Very nice! Where or when is irrelevant.
Ticket or no ticket is irrelevant.
I'm going. She's been told.
This would be something that absolutely could not and should not be missed.
It's more important than getting married, going on holiday, watching your children being born, etc.
It is, quite simply, the most important thing in the world, ever.

No problem and thanks. To be honest I'm not really clued up on Brexit etc. I leave that to the missus. I think there's a lot of second guessing. There's without doubt many many more experts on here compared to me were politics is concerned.John Johnson 1605 wrote:Thank you for the link. Ringo, Moffitt and claretandy in Europe would be a wonderful sight. Drinking John Smiths, eating steak and kidney pie and speaking in raised voices to help the Johnny bloody Foreigners to understand them.
