To be honest I'd rather be in 14th playing like we do than be 8th playing like Burnley. And I mean that.
Can't even get the positions correct.
The only upside to that is that Burnley might sneak into the Europa League for next year, and hopefully the extra games will see them relegated
Mine's a pint!
Burnley are a ******* dickheads and all. Writhing about from every feint touch. **** team. Can’t wait to watch the assholes get stuffed by some eastern european goat shaggers in the europa qualifiers.
Someone's not happy.
Burnley really are football parasites though, absolutely no interest in playing football or attacking us at all until they leech a couple of goals off of us.
No one likes us!
When Burnley equalised, I turned to my son and said we'll lose this now.
Get the Lottery put on man.
People crying about Burnley need to get a grip. Dyche is a winner. He's built a side that play to win football matches and Burnley are everything that we aren't- united in spirit, hard-working, committed to the club and evolving each season.
Who wants to live in Burnley? Anyone?
Folk with strong jaws.

It would be impossible to estimate how much time and energy we invest in trying to fix, change and deny our emotions - especially the ones that shake us at our very core, like hurt, jealousy, loneliness, shame, rage and grief.

I honestly think Watford fans are one of the most whingiest (yes, it's a word
) set of fans ever. Everyone cheats apart from them. They mustn't see Richarlason on a regular basis, obviously.
Watford can do one. They are a shocking club with their dodgy owners sacking each manager. Luckily for us they got rid of Dyche. We win. F you Hornet boys

As I walked back to the car I was alongside a Watford Father telling his Watford son as to what a crap manager Dyche is. Thats why Watford sacked him, who wants to watch football like that every week, even Stoke were slightly better than Burnley. Who can watch football like that? Thats why Dyche will never manager any other team other than Burnley. The goalkeeper is told to lump the ball upfield every time he has the ball, what rubbish football.
Had I included every swear word he spoke in-between the above report this post would have been 9 times longer than it is.
Anyway I shall forgive him because we *(^$^@**!)B!!** WON and look forward to a EUROPEAN TOUR !!

You've got to love the irony of a thread that starts off having a dig at Burnley for voting for Brexit and later makes ends up with a comment about "eastern european goat shaggers".
Or all the comments about how they'd rather lose and play like they do than win and play like us, whilst endlessly whining about their players, performance, manager etc.
Nom nom nom.

Shore claret, last season it was every MOTD. And this as well. I hope someone's kept all the clips of the disgruntled losing managers being interviewed, it would make a great spliced rave video-tune/comic take.

Obviously I don't know about your family or financial side of things, but if you hate it down there then maybe it's worth giving Burnley another go? It's got to have changed a bit since you finished University.
Don't worry about the football, I'll buy you a season ticket.

Nope. N.O. Not as things stand. I visit two of three times a year and just the weather change from Euston to Preston is enough to kill off my hope in life. Love the scenery and watching Burnley, mind.

I genuinely love threads like this. Usually modern Premier League fans with no idea about football history (Chelsea spring to mind) whinging that scruffy Northern oiks like us dare to take points of them.
It's understandable from fans who've never known anything other than finishing in the top four of the PL, but when ******* Watford fans start, it's hilarious. Who the **** do they think they are?

People who say that they wouldn't live in Burnley have either never been or have only made the short trip from the M65 to Turf Moor
Burnley is amazing, stunning scenery within 10 minutes drive in any direction. Why did I ever leave?
Watford on the other hand is a dump whichever direction you are facing

I think they need to brush up on their defending set pieces a bit more before they can lay a claim to playing fancy football.
Signing players for big bucks and paying them big bucks means very little if your manager and coaches don't train you how to defend a set piece.
It was an old masterclass from us similar to how we won games last season at home sometimes and what's most reassuring to me after that performance is that despite being much better going forward this season we can still defend and keep a lead when we need too.
A few games this season and we threw results away or were cheated on, but today we'll get confidence from this.
All without our best defensive player too.

Watford basket case of a club.
93 managers in 2 seasons.
Crap ground. Crap fans. Awful place to live.
Dirty team who never stopped fouling us yesterday.
No history and team full of mercenaries who at the drop at a hat would move to any other club if they had a chance.
They are the epitome of everything we never want to be
Oh yeh and their chairman and no 1 fan used to be a bloke who wears big silly glasses, got married to a woman even though he was gay and then got married to some other bloke whose last name is furniture....and who is the only person in the world who can’t pronounce Ed Sheeran’s name despite professing to be his bezzie mate !!

I don't know if it's just me but I don't recognise the Watford team at all. The team to me is just a list of names with the exception of a couple who I know. The rest I couldn't tell you what position they played or if in fact it was a actually Watford player or Watford cab driver/ kebab shop owner etc. The most unrecognisable team in the premier league but like I say could Just be me. Anyway fcuk em. UTC

What he describes is no different to 90% of clubs in the country. I stay at Watford every now and again when I go to Wembley to watch NFL and there's a couple of things said in this thread that are ironic in that a) Watford is most definitely more of a dump than Burnley, and b)Watford has qiute a big non-white population, but I would argue that Burnley is no different in that sense. The fact that generally the majority of people who watch footy are male and white makes his frustrated rant meaningless
