Looks like he has been fired by Fleetwood Mac -
( disagreements about upcoming tour).
He will be replaced by Neil Finn and one other whose name I did not catch.

Pity that... great guitarist, seems a good guy... think he writes some of the songs as well.

True according to Rolling Stone magazine and, as hampstead says, Neil Finn is joining the band along with Mike Campbell who played with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
The band really do thrive on conflict!

Is Christine McVie touring with them this time? She seems closer to Buckingham than the rest and made a Fleetwood Mac-lite album with him last year.

Hope he hasn't gone out "to get a magazine" as per Jeremy Spencer. For me, Mac were never as good after Peter Green and J Spencer left. A few decent MOR records but they were much better as blues/rock in the earlier incarnation.

Think he replaced Bob Welch in the early Seventies. The bands progress through the
decades has been accompanied by colossal drug taking by all the band.

In a book published a few years ago, Mick Fleetwood said someone worked out
that he (Fleetwood) had snorted the equivalent of a seven mile line of coke, if laid out in one long line.

(Based on him taking an eighth of an ounce every day for twenty years.)
Remarkable how theyre still alive.

Produced some great stuff.

Been in and out of the band for years , a tangled web of love , betrayal and all fuelled by a vast amount of a class drugs.

16..that is a great bit of footage there funky showing the band in their early days.

- there are some very fab hip cool people in that audience...as someone says, there was an orgy after that show.
