2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Who knows, they could even break with tradition and announce the allocation like other clubs do.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
They won’t announce it. We’ve approached the club on a number of occasions on this but it is the policy now. Of course we should be taking the full allocation of 3,000 and I hope that we do.aggi wrote:Who knows, they could even break with tradition and announce the allocation like other clubs do.

Arse Allocation
We didn't take full allocation and we won't! That's quite poor....So...
...is there anywhere in Central London that would be showing the game? Could well be an impressive turn out for non-ticket holders and a party to boot...

Re: Arse Allocation
If the demands there surely we will take up the full allocation ???
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
If we told Arsenal that we dont want the full allocation then Arsenal will already be selling those tickets in the section where Burnley fans would have been.
This situation has happened more than once over the last few months. If it is correct that we haven't taken the full allocation then someone at the club needs to explain themselves. We were always going to sell 3000 for this game!
Do the people responsible for making these decisions feel that its ok to treat paying customers/fans with total disdain?

The fighting for Arsenal tickets
It seems from the number of threads / posts over the past few days that this is going to be massively oversubscribed to say the least with those season ticket holders who have 5000+ points and the odd Foundation member able to get hold of one.
Perhaps if we had taken our full allocation instead of the 2000 we have asked for it may have solved some of the problem?

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
One of, if not the BIGGEST game of the season for me......... Crazy stuff if we asked for any less than 3000.
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Some clubs won't allow Burnley to take the second batch until the first batch are sold out. No idea if this is the case here or they've taken the full allocation or a reduced allocation or what.
We all know the answer but for whatever reason (the official reason was that that the allocation depending on take up can change numerous times during the sales process depending on how many fans purchase tickets. Due to the fact the total allocation can change many times during a game, it is difficult for the club to announce a standard number. but this doesn't seem to stop other clubs announcing their allocations and providing updates) the club likes to keep quiet about allocations and ticket sales.

I’d be amazed if we haven’t taken the maximum.
If we haven’t they really need to get someone who understands football to make the decisions with tickets.

Has it been confirmed that we've only requested 2000? Very disappointing if sotybfc wrote:It seems from the number of threads / posts over the past few days that this is going to be massively oversubscribed to say the least with those season ticket holders who have 5000+ points and the odd Foundation member able to get hold of one.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Considering we are set to earn around £25m more than if we finished bottom (less tax, bonuses etc), it is a shame the club don’t feel they can take the risk on a full away allocation for a match not on TV.

I think that the 2000 figure is just a guesstimate.JohnDearyMe wrote:Has it been confirmed that we've only requested 2000? Very disappointing if so

I spoke to my mate in The Emirates box office this morning who confirmed that we had requested and been allocated 2000 tickets.
I used to work with him years ago.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Allocation is 2000 confirmed by Arsenal ticket office. Burnley were offered 1400, 2000 or 3500 and are not expecting them to take anymore than the 2000 requested.
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
The ongoing secrecy over allocations is absolutely pathetic. What are the club possibly gaining from it, apart from ******* off loyal fans, or customers as they probably see us.

That is a very disappointing deciscion by the club. I have no doubt whatsoever that we could have sold 3500 based on past experience.proudtobeaclaret wrote:Allocation is 2000 confirmed by Arsenal ticket office. I was going to give my opinion on this but it's that pathetic that i'm taking a reduced allocation of words.

Keeping my reasons secret, just because I can.

Gutted, been to lots of away games this season, this one was special as the other half was coming too. First time I've not been able to get tickets

Last away game in an unbelievable season that nobody expected, on a bank holiday weekend against a side we could potentially pip into SIXTH place in the Premier League.
Surely we didn’t ask for less.
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Just read that even Blackburn Rovers took 3000 tickets for their game at Charlton the week before ours and they've managed to sell out!

You say they haven't sold out yet. I am a London claret with out 3,000 loyalty points and not a season ticket holder. We can't even try buying till the 27th April, the chances of me getting 2 tickets are not promising
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Has anyone told the club the ITV digital fiasco is long gone and the risk of a few unsold tickets is negligible to the clubs finances?

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Went online a few seconds before 5pm when the 3000 points sale started needed 3 tickets 2 of us have 5000+ one only has 4000 so waited then we could of sat together. Put tickets in basket went to check out kept getting message one of us had under 5000 points. Refreshed for 8 minutes and it switched to 3000 points needed (this should of been up and running at 5pm)
so great I thought at last, went to check out the 3 tickets in my basket it took me to next page to check out and pay. Then for no reason there was nothing in the basket all 3 tickets gone and the all sold out sign goes up on the ticket page.
What an absolute ******* joke this club is some times yes we might be 7th in the prem but when it comes to tickets we are still run like a 4th division club
We didn't take the full allaction WHY ???? Are the club scared of being left with 400/500 tickets costing them about 12k. ffs it's a drop in the ocean to the club these days but as usual the fans come second.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Surely someone from the club will put a call in to Arsenal tomorrow.
Sold out within 15 minutes of going on sale to those with 3000 plus points.
3500 allocation would appear to have been required and assuming Arsenal struggle to sell out at present, maybe, just maybe, they would have been selling other areas of the ground first, just incase!

Is there any correspondence between supporters clubs and the club about this issue ?
Who makes these decisions?
And why is the number a secret ?

Very sad I'd have thought the club would have asked for more tickets not a reduced allocation ..as above should be in touch with Arsenal to get more tickets doubt they will sell out or do we all have to do a Koln . . Very poor from the ticket office.

I'm not on Twitter myself but might be an idea for someone to question Bentley about the continued shambles regarding away tickets? Why lessons don't seem to be being learnt etc?
