ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Just spent a week away and got chatting to a scouser who was singing this song all night after they beat City last week.
Couldn't help thinking it'd sound brilliant being belted out at the Turf (obviously with a tweak of the lyrics).
.....
Staying down forever.
Is what the bastards said
In 1987 –
They thought our club was dead
We're on our way to Europe
Back where we belong
Wherever you will see us
We'll always sing this song
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLLLEZZZ
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLLLEZZZ
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLLLEZZZ
ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLLLEZZZ
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ytg4JuS_ZR4 - the Liverpool version

Can't wait to hear the CFS smash this out at 160BPM
Re: ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Most of the crowd struggled with the name Bikey. Think you're on a hiding to nothing trying to introduce French singing to the general Burnley fan base.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, no thanks!!

I like the song. Different and original. People do moan that we don't have new songs and Burnley fans drool over 1987, perfect.

I hope the Roma fans of whoever tw*ts them in the next round sing
Liver liver Liverpuddle
Liverpuddle

Liver liver
Puddle!
Except in German it's Live-r liver-r poodle.

Or if every person who moans at an attempt of any type of atmosphere being generated did it at a predetermined time in the game ..... it'd probably pass as atmosphere.karatekid wrote:Vuvuzelas are the only answer to out embarrassing lack of decent terrace chants.

Re: ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Smashed the opponents coach up to unnerve them and look at the after effects... City's season screwed. Not that I'm anything other than a Burnley fan but the City players said they weren't affected. Subliminally they may die of a heart attack three years later or their hair will fall out in the next six months.
That's how the bully works.

Re: ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Great shout there BFCcrazy. Don’t listen to the nay sayers. They’re the kind of folk who in normal walks of life you’d call ‘dream stealers’. The “been there”, “done that”, “I could have done that if I wanted” brigade. They don’t sing, or prefer to bash out 35 renditions of NNN at 1,000 bpm.bfccrazy wrote:Just spent a week away and got chatting to a scouser who was singing this song all night after they beat City last week.

The fact is our fans are crap at creating an atmosphere. We have been for years now. We can’t sing anything with more than 4-5 words in it and have to clap at 2,000 mph along with it.
A lot also put down every effort to improve it. No club has anything original really, but what other clubs have is balls to try stuff. This Allez Allez Allez song is actually Napoli’s, which they apparently nicked from an 80’s pop song. So the scousers have ‘borrowed’ the tune.
If that got going I think it would sound ace!

I was going to post the same link. Love this song..... the words as created by BFCcrazy aren't too difficult... I like it, going to try it in the cricket field on Saturday. I've not heard other prem teams singing allez allez allez yet?Claretforever wrote:Napoli fans

Should give it a go, and stop being boring! It's been ages since our last game on the turf, personally I can't wait for 2.30 Saturday!

There wil be five of us trying to get this going in the Cricketfield stand. I think twirling scarves could be good as it would stop people speeding it up and be a visual prompt to the rest of the ground so they could join in. Maybe a little rendition in the concourse before and at half time would help.

Re: ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Can we please try this? All the people complaining about old songs just aren't trying new ones which doesn't help. It's worth a go and its a catchy tune which highlights are meteoric rise over the last 30 years. What's the worst that can happen.
Re: ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ
Maybe we could have the words printed out and put on every seat. When you hold it up with the lyrics towards you the back could spell out Europe Here We Come. The Europe would be in the Longside, Here in Jimmy mac, Wee in Bob Lord........

San Lorenzo fans are amazing. Some really good tunes and persistent singing. You notice that the best songs are those where a rhythm and a beat can be maintained. Our fans just want to smash their hands off.cricketfieldclarets wrote:We need those Argentines to come over and jazz up Um Ba BA!

Not sure about the falling in love bit. This is a bit more realistic: https://youtu.be/tVLGveU5jbU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's a clip from Fellini's 'ROMA' traffic scene. The Napoli fan's coach bit is around 2.15 to 3.15 mins. on the vid.
The footy fan motorway attendant at the beginning is typical football fan stuff.
