I'm a little surprised it's his first after such a great season. Hopefully it's the first of many

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
Long overdue, surprised he hasn't won 1 previously. Barnes unfortunate Vardy scored a wonder goal to nick goal of the month.

Take a bow sir Sean
Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
Are we safe yet? Not sure myself. Could end up as low as 15th. And season before last the team finishing 15th (Newcastle) got relegated.Ashingtonclaret46 wrote:MIke --we have kicked many things into touch this season and this will be another myth which Sean will ignore ---I'll keep you positive tomorrow ---glass half full you know!

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
I wonder, will Sean Dyche judge himself to be the "real deal" or just a "work in progress?"
Congratulations, Sean Dyche.
For me, SD has been the "real deal" from his first season with the Clarets.

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
Ashley Banjo looks rather happy to be stood next to Mr Dyche in the article.
Regarding Wood and Barnes nominations, have the awards been dished out yet, or have they a chance of adding to the awards?

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
I believe that Vardy won the goal of the month and Salah won the player of the month ---so we won't talk about that!
Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
John Coleman won MotM in February. Remind me what Accrington di in March? (Clue - Coleman won MotM again.)

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
It's kinda weird that this is the one he won. OK 3 wins out of 3 games is great, but City had 4 wins from 4. Doesn't it usually just go purely by results?

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
I read somewhere that is decided by a mixture of votes by the public, and a handful of s’soccer experts’..
So there is some leeway in the judging procedure.
If it was just based on ‘wins in the month’ there would be no need for supporters to vote.

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
Personally I thought the worst manager of the season decision was the decision in the Championship 2015-16 when it went to Chris Hughton whose team didn't get promoted and we went 23 undefeated and up as Champs and yet two seasons earlier when we went up as runners up having been favourites to get relegated it was given to Nigel Pearson.
No one like us we don't care.
CT will know the last time the top club's manger didn't win Manager of the season award in the Championship

Re: Dyche Manager of The Month
The Chris hughton award was an absolute disgrace and if he'd have had the balls he would have refused it.... Roles reversed I'm almost sure Sean dyche would.wasnt Pearson given the prick of the year award also??mdd2 wrote:Personally I thought the worst manager of the season decision was the decision in the Championship 2015-16 when it went to Chris Hughton whose team didn't get promoted and we went 23 undefeated and up as Champs and yet two seasons earlier when we went up as runners up having been favourites to get relegated it was given to Nigel Pearson.

And, Sean Dyche defies the rule: Manager of the Month continues to have a winning team.
