End of season celebrations
We’ve had an incredible season. I’m confident we will finish 7th or 8th and we should celebrate at the end of the Bournemouth match.
Do you think we should have a plane and banner saying ‘PROUDSVILLE thanks Sean & BFC’ (or something like that)?
Any other suggestions?

If you order them from china today they should get here by the last game. Get on it everyone. Having the dolphins back would be fantastic to see.

Re: End of season celebrations
Let's just keep off the pitch and let the manager, his staff, the players and their families do a proper lap around the field so we can all show our appreciation for what they have delivered this season...I hate pitch invasions...........although I did partake in one in York a while back

The club should organise a big screen for us all to celebrate the unveiling of the new sign when the Prinny have to change to "The Royal Dyche"

I've seen mention of the dolphins before.
Stupid question: What is the relevance of the dolphin ?

Officious stewards confiscated the inflatable dolphins for no good reason.
Cue - "We want our dolphins back!" and instant cult status for inflatable dolphins. Helped, of course, by having an amazingly successful season.
But really it was as simple as that.
Oh, and you had to be there.
If you weren't there you aren't a true fan

We should be reducing our consumption of plastic.Falcon wrote:I'm up for dolphins. How much do they go for on ebay
All those plastic dolphins will probably end up in the ocean and in the stomachs of the real things.

It's the only way too celebrate an 8th place finish, goes a long the same thoughts of a bus parade for being a runner upHatfieldClaret wrote:I've seen mention of the dolphins before.

Least the dolphins will go well with the fantasy beach the players will be on.

Must have a hell of a throw to get it in the sea from York

Book Monday off work and go out after the game and get hammered. Sing songs around town but keep it clean. No violence towards non believers. Get a kebab on the way home. Helps the local economy too.

Yeah, on the pitch at York and Scunny in 2000.
Bit of a tradition, really. Cant complain if it happens at the Turf.

I think we pat everyone connected with BFC on the back especially us miserable old farts who went through the eighties and since then have supported the dry powder don't bet the ranch business model that has served us so well. Dyche is the icing on the gingerbread man cake.

Re: End of season celebrations
They were out in full force at the start of the first Dyche promotion, no more so than at Hilsbrough.
Many made their way into Bloomfield Road At the end of the season, despite over-zealous stewarding.
Two seasons later, the dolphins returned for one match only, this time the Friday night game away at Rotherham United. It would be truly great to see them come back again.

Looks more like a donkey than a dolphin (to clarify, that's the inflatable I'm referring to!)jdrobbo wrote:I wasn’t on my own at Rotherham, despite this photo suggesting otherwise...

A pitch invasion simply for qualifying for Europa league...you being serious? Sounds like any excuse to run onto the pitch to me.jrgbfc wrote:Qualifying for Europe!
