Big Sam
Evertons board asking fans to rate him. Talk about undermining your manager and board.
Was tasked with a job and more than achieved that. Maybe give him a full season with his own team...
Everton fans another fickle bunch.

Re: Big Sam
I saw this last night but not looked in any detail. I find it staggering that a club would ask fans to rate the manager like that.

Re: Big Sam
Not a BFS fan, but it truly is shocking. They've tried to disguise it by putting it in amongst a load of questions re the 'running' of the club, but can't be seen as anything other than a poll on Allardyce. Foreign owners are truly awful on so many levels, this lot just sank to the lower reaches.
Re: Big Sam
Looks like this is the second year they’ve included this question, so it’s not specifically a Big Sam related thing.

Re: Big Sam
Its rather like asking a patient about to undergo heart surgery if he's any suggestions as to what the surgeon should do.
Bizarre.
Bizarre.
Re: Big Sam
From The Guardian:
‘The club sent the same questions to the panel at the end of last season in response to the Premier League reducing the range of questions in their fans’ survey. Everton intend to use the results to shape communication with supporters on what emerges as the most important issues at the club.’

Re: Big Sam
Everton aren't owned by foreign owners, Moshiri is a British citizen, Kenwright is a British citizen.
As Martin Says, these questions were also posed last season.
Fuss over.

Re: Big Sam
Everton fans got what they deserved. For the most part, they wanted Allardyce over Dyche (not that I'm complaining!) and recognised Allardyce would keep them away from any trouble at the bottom. He did that but they're a fickle bunch so no doubt they're ready to discard him! The trouble is when clubs think they're too good for certain managers and styles of play and then end up in trouble (Stoke and West Brom, for example).
Re: Big Sam
They actually ask what level of confidence the supporters have in the management team. They've also asked the same question about the board and the players.martin_p wrote:Looks like this is the second year they’ve included this question, so it’s not specifically a Big Sam related thing.

Re: Big Sam
I remember him at Burnden Park many years ago. He was, and still is, held in high regard by Bolton fans. Perhaps BFS could do a good job in Horwich !
I'd give him an 8 for his efforts at Goodison (2 deducted for being a miserable C*** !)

Big Sam is our own Big Sam Vokes
Re: Big Sam
Didn't he change the opinion on the West Ham fans in his second season?
Just shows how football fans/clubs want instant results and certain style of play.
Our Sean still talks about us being nowhere near the finished article.
I think we all know that the finished article is impossible to reach, but we get the point.

When Everton win it's because of fat Sam, when they don't he throws players under the bus in his after match interviews.
About time he left football for good.

Just delighted that the knowledgable bstards fans helped drive him out. Don't like the man but he's good at what he does.

Re: Big Sam
Everton fans are in a class with West Ham. They never seem to be happy and can’t wait for things to not go completely to plan and then off they go again, whinging about everything and anything to do with their non-achieving clubs.
This episode with BFS reminds me of Colonel Jessop in “A few good men”....they get him in to do the saving job yet complain at the way he does it!
He’ll just wait for the bullet, pick up his cheque and on to the next one.......WBA anyone?

Re: Big Sam
Everton have appointed a director of football who will oversee player recruitment
Sam will be gone soon after the season has finished paving the way for a foreign puppet coach to steer them into the top six !
I've seen better business plans at sixth form college.

They've already got that bloke Walsh who was at Leicester but has amusingly avoided getting any blame so far.
