Well just in case it is....

Get the deal sorted early, barring a couple of minor issues that remain pending, then at the last minute, when it becomes apparent they have no plan B, pull the plug and start Marney in the first PL game of the season, where he scores a hat trick away at Man City.

Free to speak to any club from January and a player coming out of contract at a club can sign a pre-contract with any non-English club

Officially hes only allowed to agree a deal with a foreign club. But id hope we wouldnt begrudge our player the chance of securing his future if hes not part of ours.

Yeah I'm sure we all want the best for Marney. I just saw Karanka and instantly assumed corruption, lol. I'm sure it's all legit.

He nearly signed for Forest in January as part of a player plus cash deal with one of there’s coming to us but it fell through at the last minute due to him picking up an injury. Shame really, he deserves first team football.

Not certain its Karanka. But theyd have to be bloody good at photoshop to edit Marneys face AND Reflection into the pic!

Well, if he does end up going, I hope he gets a big send off from the fans because he is one player who has always given everything for Burnley and has been a massive part of the success this past few seasons. Would be a very good move for Forest.
