Re: Wilf cheating Zaha
I haven't seen it, but you are right Vegas. He does it all the time. Until we start penalising them for it retrospectively, they'll continue.
I will enjoy it almost as much as when Dogba feigned injury for Chelsea against Barcelona in the ECL....and Barce scored in the added on injury time!
Can't stand this modern phenomenon.
Also hate the, "There was contact!" justification for a penalty.
(End of rant).

I initially read this as 'wife cheating Zaha'.

I bet he sat on the floor with his outstretched arms and eyeballs looking like they were about to pop out of his eye sockets!

In a contact sport, where the British tough tackling was what the world loved to watch, it is sickening that media and ex pros all chorus, "There was contact, so that's a penalty".JimmyRobbo wrote: Can't stand this modern phenomenon.

If I was a manager and my defender failed to make contact, I would be rather miffed!

I can't get the hype about him. I thought the same when he played at the Turf whilst still at Palace even though he'd signed for Utd. Well overrated IMHO

Re: Wilf cheating Zaha
I have seen Zaha play quite a few times and without fail he has thrown himself to the ground several times if anyone gets the better of him.
He is one of the worst and a cheat so if he was fouled and didn't get it, it makes up a little for all those he did.Sadly despite much criticism he continues to do this - arrogant in the extreme I feel.

Wasn't a pen. He, as usual made sure there was "contact"

Re: Wilf cheating Zaha
********. Defender missed him first time then raised his foot to stop him going after the ball. Refs eyes followed the ball, after the initial challenge. Defo pen but as he’s had so many that weren’t screw him.bob-the-scutter wrote:Wasn't a pen. He, as usual made sure there was "contact"
Re: Wilf cheating Zaha
There is always co fact when one of the players is Zaha.
Instead of Pride coming before a fall, he has, Contact comes before a fall.
Such a skilful lad with no character.

Re: Wilf cheating Zaha
Just seen this. Definitely a penalty.
As for Sterling or Jack Cork today. Shocking dives. Neither focussed on.
