Post by KRBFC » Sat Apr 21, 2018 8:02 pm

Nice little night of combat sports lined up.....

Amir Khan live on Sky Sports now
Charlo, Gervonta Davis and Vargas v AB the problem on Sky later.
Then a tasty UFC card wedged in.

I thought Frampton v Nonito Donaire was on tonight anole but I'm not sure where :?

Boxing fans are annoying, why pay for a ticket to not even sit in the seat until the main event. Empty seats everywhere with no atmosphere but it soon fills up when the main event comes on.

Nigel Benn's son on next, always looked a good fighter I'm not sure why he's still fighting nobodies. 12th pro boxing fight, in MMA after 3 wins you're fighting for a world title. Boxing matchmaking really does blow

If Lo Greco lays a glove on him, Khan is gone.

Look for the definition of glass jaw, and it simply says "Amir Khan".

Khan an elite level boxer, I wonder if he still has it in him after taking a stupid fight against a naturally heavier Canelo and no doubt a Canelo filled with steroids.

You don’t need to sell a great fight.

Don’t know where they got this chump LoGreco from but looks like he’s just staggered out from the miners. Mind you, they’d probably put up more of a fight

Incredibly naff set up in the ring after with Khan and Brook. Pre worked lines and everything.

Conor Benn went life and death with a French journeyman who was 5-5 in his last fight before tonight and looked horrific. Not saying he doesn't have the potential to make it but he looked awful in that fight. If you haven't seen his fight with Peynaud I'd suggest watching it on Youtube because it was a brilliant spectacle, as bad as Benn looked.

Always makes me laugh when there’s a boxing thread on here. Clueless!

Kahn’s as good as the UK have had, 2 time world champion, apart from Prescott he’s only lost to the very best. Shame he’s from Pakistan because I’m sure he’d have more followers, I’ve watched over 100 fights live and Kahn is as good as any, brook? Yeah what ever

bang on pal, Khan disliked by the UK fans for being Pakistani. The glass jaw is a strange assumption, knocked out by Prescott when he was a kid. Knocked out by Peterson who was full of steroids and failed a drug test post fight. Danny Garcia is a killer Welterweight and Khan won the first 3 rounds.

Khan's last fight was a stupid move by a desperate guy, he stepped up two weight classes to fight a naturally bigger man and arguably the best Middleweight on the planet. Nobody gave him a chance against Canelo, yet most people had him ahead before he lost in the 6th round. A near impossible task, Canelo would've been over a stone heavier. Also, Canelo has recently been banned for taking steroids, was he on them when he fought Khan? when the truth came out and Canelo failed a drug test the real question is ''how long has this guy been doing this''.

I don't see what everyone's problem is with Khan. He's never come across as being arrogant to me. (Certainly not compared with many boxers). He never ducks anyone. Been in some great fights against the very best
