Ahmed Hegazi
Was he deliberately trying to get sent off? Punched Ings in the stomach and then flailed his hand into Salahs face.
Ref noticed neither although he may get a retrospective ban particularly for the Ings incident. He gets 3 games...season over...time for him to jump ship and find a new club?

Re: Ahmed Hegazi
He's only on loan I think so he doesn't even need to find a new club. I'm sure he'll get a ban for the Ings incident.Somethingfishy wrote:Was he deliberately trying to get sent off? Punched Ings in the stomach and then flailed his hand into Salahs face.

So he is - was on loan for first half of the season and then signed a deal in the January window until 2022.colne-claret wrote:He’s permanent.

Re: Ahmed Hegazi
Reminded me of when players try to get booked or suspended over the Christmas period..it looked that obvious. Either downed tools or just wants out..possibly both. Maybe symptomatic of the problems West Brom have had and why they are in the situation they are in. I really feel sorry for Jay..he is trying his heart out for them.

Re: Ahmed Hegazi
Just noticed he has got away without being charged for the punch on Ings. Remarkable and shows the incompetence of the panel. Is there really any difference to what he did and what Tarks did at Brighton?
He must try harder if he wants an early holiday.

Can’t understand how he can get away with that when you think that Tarkowski picked up a three match ban.Somethingfishy wrote:Just noticed he has got away without being charged for the punch on Ings. Yes it's this inconsistency that baffles and gets up fans' noses, impossible to justify/understand the differential treatment but there it is.

Haven't seen either incident but surprised to hear he had an incident with Salah.....they will be international teammates won't they?
Re: Ahmed Hegazi
Couldn't understand how he got away with the two incidents mentioned, he was thuggish throughout the game and should have been sent off.

Re: Ahmed Hegazi
West Brom should suspend him anyway with a statement explaining that they believed the FA's decision was wrong. How would that fly, I wonder?

Yeah was a flick in the face, commentator at the time said they were best friends. Salah soon moved past the incident but it wasn't particularly "friendly".claret10 wrote:Haven't seen either incident but surprised to hear he had an incident with Salah.....they will be international teammates won't they?

Re: Ahmed Hegazi
Very strange he's got away without a ban.
At least for the Ings one.

Maybe some would say (secretly) "preferential treatment" ??impossible to justify/understand the differential treatment but there it is.

I seem to remember Jack Lester having a ridiculous disciplinary record at Christmas. Not sure what the stats were but they it seemed to be a MIGHTY coincidence!Cleveleys_claret wrote:Ronnie Jepson springs to mind
