Someone says....It was funny. They said "Prince, it's probably going to rain. What do you want to do?"
Prince replies "Can you make it rain harder?"

No prima donna like most artists today

I thought when the title mentioned a legend it was going to refer to one.... Perhaps the definition of legend has changed

The 1984 Prince recording of Nothing Compares 2 U has been unearthed, and it's a bit special

Thanks for that Walton, not seen it before.

There was hardly any output by Prince on YouTube for a long time,

- since his death there is tons of good stuff on there..

Prince - 'I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man' (Official Music Video)...the drumming by Sheila E and the guitar solo.

Never really a mega Fan. My mate was/is, and he took me to see Prince at Maine Road on the ‘Diamonds and Pearls’ tour in 91. Prince and his Band were utterly amazing. Became more of a fan after that. I loved his guitar solo style. Always just on the right side of ‘too much’.

My favourite Rock Profile on Prince that focuses on his later years and really gets behind his pop star persona and up close and personal with the real Prince

Two years. Wow. Time has flown by.

Perhaps, Grumps, the definition of legend has a personal element to it? Whatever, there is no need to be disrespectful. I run a vinyl based music group on Facebook, and there are some massive Prince fans on there.

Exactly 2 years ago today that I saw Chris Cornell live. He performed a Prince song in tribute. Both sadly missed!

Well said Zom Zom.. I was going to leave it but seeing as you’ve mentioned it..
This place is about opinions.. no problems with disagreements.

Use some manners though.
What made me smile late last night was that when I asked this poster to engage in conversation ( post 5) he logged out with the speed of an internet Usain Bolt..
- must have been tired... :)

** for those interested in ‘legendary status’ there are all sorts of lists on the internet..
eg - Rolling Stone magazine.
